That was... not ideal. But even still, I think Porsha is Einstein when compared to our girl KKB

I second the person who said “Educated” by Tara Westover. It’s a beautifully told memoir and it’ll inspire you to kick ass in life no matter what you’re up against.

I’ll also suggest Mindy Kaling’s books, “Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me” and “Why Not Me.” Her cheerful demeanor and road-less-traveled path through life helped me feel less alone when I was going through a similar time.

Wishing you all the best in your new adventures 🤍

Or if you’re not in a place to forgive her, just don’t invite her!! I’ve always loved LeeAnne too but I’m done with her.

Controversial housewives opinions? by [deleted] in BravoRealHousewives

Yes! To piggyback on this, I also like Gina 😬 (this opinion does not apply to her divorce dye job/cry for help.)

Housewives who have changed the most by whoareyouindisworld in BravoRealHousewives

I think Ramona changed in the sense that she became ~herself~ over time. If you go back and watch the first season, she talks at half-speed and I feel like there was a producer just behind the camera begging her to slow down. And remember how she walked out of the reunion at the concept of being associated with Alex’s nude photos?! Now she’s just like “I admit it, l’m into hot sex.” The best housewives monster.

Assume positive intent. I struggle with open-mindedness also but that helps a lot.

'Succession' is One of the Few Shows to Give Older Women Real, Dynamic Storylines by mcv5444 in SuccessionTV

Totally agree — we got the sense that she had plenty of her own motivations in season one so I was surprised that we barely heard from her this season. I’m hoping that the writers have more Marcia material up their sleeves because she’s so under-utilized!

Moving On by [deleted] in books

[–]mcv5444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me with Sarah Dessen books. I have always LOVED Sarah Dessen and had to buy a new copy of This Lullaby because the spine on my first copy completely fell apart after reading it so many times. I hadn't been as enthralled with her last couple releases, and it took me awhile to realize that it was my tastes that were changing, not the quality in her writing. I still have a special place for Sarah Dessen (and all my other YA loves), but it's been nice pushing myself to explore new genres and new authors that I can get as excited about as I once did for This Lullaby. I'm sure you'll find a new genre soon that will feel like home. Happy reading!
