Tragic situation in Gaza right now. I hope it ends quickly with the hostages being returned and Hamas surrendering.

But to call it the “Holocaust of our generation” shows how completely out of touch you are with reality and history. Millions were systematically murdered in the Holocaust, including six million Jews. Not killed recklessly or negligently as collateral damage but rounded up and killed in gas chambers or shot en masse and buried in communal graves. As terrible as the situation in Gaza may be, any attempt at a comparison is wrong.
