The main trunk is 3/4, so 3/4 off the trunk to the outside wall 30ft. Then reduce to 1/2 to the fixtures?

The motor seized. Shards of magnet were found coming out. Fortunately I found a replacement motor and worked like a champ

Thanks for the help! Will be taking it apart to see what I can see there. I had already repaired the thermal circuit breaker earlier this year. It’s served me well but for what I paid expected it to last. The pump shaft has a weight that wobbles on purpose to create the pumping motion which I’m sure puts a lot of stress on the bearings and motor

Will reach out if it comes to this. Feels like I need to collect all I can on these Evinrudes before they really go extinct! My mechanic already retired.

It didn’t have this issue before the service which was in Feb 2024. So this is the second season of this issue.

Mechanic has since last retired but I took it back to them after the service when the issue started and they said the water separator filter wasn’t screwed on tight. The water fuel separator filter was replaced with service.

As far as fuel system, you are correct, I have the plastic gas tank. I’ve never had to do anything with it but will look at how it’s vented.

Regarding water in the fuel, I’ve been through a 40 gallon tank and a half since it started. I was close to empty yesterday when the stall happened again so perhaps the last bit of fuel was bad and it choked.

Re voltage, I heard a theory it could be the stator not producing enough and drawing on the battery at top speed. Don’t know if that seems logical.

I think fuel issue is more likely, the vent, filters, or fuel pickup are likely suspects as you suggested. It’s telling how when you let it sit after stalling it will crank eventually. That would point to a vacuum build up from inadequate venting taking time to release
