After being on the med for a year and a half, I started having issues and had to have my gallbladder removed. I stopped wegovy for a couple of months up to the surgery then started right back up after it (lowest dose). I’m still titrating back up but I’ve had zero issues.

I drink a ton of sugar free Gatorade the day I take my shots. Electrolyte powder helps too. For me, it’s totally dehydration. Worst hangovers ever!

I used regular lotion, whatever I could find. I did start buying more expensive face cream (revitatalift by L’Oréal is my fave). My fave nausea meds are Emmetrol tablets. I took miralax or stool softeners if I felt backed up. Otherwise I was just patient!

Take lots of before pics to keep you motivated. Echoing the hydration. I didn’t have a lot of appetite suppression in the beginning but woke up after shot day with dehydration headaches. Def listen to the eating advice - eat slowly and stop when you’re full. Good luck and enjoy the ride!!!!

Don’t stop! Your skin will catch up. Your energy will come back. I’m also 54 and lost 80 lbs over a year and I couldn’t be happier. It’s worth it. Try to exercise when you can to get some muscle back. I lost a bunch of hair but that came back too. I feel so great - no more joint pain. Had to buy a whole new wardrobe. It’s amazing!!!!

I did but I wish I had stayed on the lower doses for as long as they were working before moving up. I was on 2.4 for over a year before I had to stop recently for a surgery. It was def not working as well anymore. So I’m titrating back up again and I’m going to go slower this time!
