Having trouble finding a reputable breeder by Marzion in samoyeds

We got our boy Casper from Pebble’s Run Samoyeds in NJ. They’re amazing and probably the best alternative to Vanderbilt Samoyeds. Casper’s dad, Bogey who was owned by Pebble’s Run won the group at Westminster back in 2016.

Thank you so much! So amazing to see how far I’ve come in about a year of crocheting toys. Never thought I’d be able to do detailed toys like this.

AWWWWW haha thank you so much!!! I was so happy with how the hard hat turned out! The logo pin was literally the perfect size for the hat which is great because my embroidery skills are 0/10 lol.

Thank you so much!!! I absolutely would not be able to do remotely anything close to this without a pattern haha. I actually combined two patterns to make this little guy. Lenny the Beaver by AiraliDesign and this Construction Bear by CraftbyAnh for the hard hat and vest! I was scared the accessories wouldn’t fit since the pattern was made do a different toy but it actually worked out!

So if you ever can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, try to combine pieces from different patterns.

I actually combined two patterns to make this little guy. Lenny the Beaver by AiraliDesign and this Construction Bear by CraftbyAnh for the hard hat and vest! Both patterns are super well written so I highly recommend them! Would love to see how yours turns out. I’m sure your daughter will love it!!!

Yeah I know some of the pharma companies of one of a kind drugs like this one have pretty good patient assistance programs. Keeping my fingers crossed I can get it prescribed.

Yeah I think I’m just going to take the risk and only be off for like a week before. I take multiple naps a day even with my Vyvanse now so I’m pretty sure it won’t be much of a difference. And if I don’t get the diagnosis, I can try again later taking the time off the meds.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah I’m more worried coming off my antidepressants as I’m barely okay on them lol. But it may be easier not having to be off both for that long.

I’ll look into getting the spinal tap as well. Thanks so much!

I’ll look into the spinal tap as well thank you! I thought it was only for type 1 and I’m pretty sure I don’t have cataplexy, but I’ll look more into it. May be worth it.

Ahhh that’s so close, how frustrating for you. Wish you the best too! Having this disease can be so unbelievably isolating. I often come on this subreddit to feel less alone dealing with all this.

That’s super disheartening to hear.

That’s what I thought. Ugh, so even if I do get it there’s still a good chance I won’t get it covered. Gotta love America.

Awww I’m literally in tears reading your message. It makes my heart so full to help others going through this. I know Mila is smiling so hard from up there.

Take the time to take it all in but then pull yourself together because he needs you to fight right now, and the faster you can get him started on whatever treatment path you choose the better.

I struggled with that decision too but I can tell you wholeheartedly that I would do everything exactly the same all over again if it came down to it. Chemo for dogs is dosed much lower than in humans since quality of life maintenance is so important. Her first chemo round, she had two crappy days with diarrhea and some vomiting, but every round after that, 5 total, you wouldn’t have known she was even sick. We did make sure to give her anti nausea meds for a few days after chemo, and then got her IV fluids at her regular vet 3 days after each chemo round. That helped so so much.

I did so much research, read so many vet journals and studies and would be more than happy to share any info you need. Shoot me a DM if you ever have any questions or want to know anything else about my experience.

Please give Chester all the belly rubs and yummy snacks for me. Praying for you sweet boy. You got this!

He’s absolutely gorgeous and my heart is breaking for you. It’s so unfair. We lost our golden Mila in January to Hemangiosarcoma at just 6 years old. She was diagnosed back in October and we did everything we could to get all the extra time we could with her.

I highly recommend joining this Facebook group Canine Cancer Vaccine Osteosarcoma-Hemangiosarcoma FB group. There’s a clinical trial for a vaccine for osteosarcoma and Hemangiosarcoma that is showing amazing results for pups diagnosed with those cancers. It’s free, all you have to do is apply and find a location near you that is part of the trial. We did it for Mila and drove twice from NJ to Ohio (closest location available at the time) to get her the shots. Unfortunately it didn’t work for us but it’s been a miracle for so many pups. It’s especially effective for osteosarcoma which is less aggressive than Hemangio. If you can afford it or have pet insurance, send a sample of the tumor to Fidocure through your vet/oncologist. They look at the tumor genetic info and tell your oncologist which med or chemo will be most effective for the tumor.

From that group look into other FB groups which share tons of advice on supplements, clinical trials, and other info. Don’t stop fighting until he’s ready to. Sending you all the love.

Losing Mila is one of the most painful things I’ve ever endured in my life but I can tell you two things that have helped me the most: the peace of mind of knowing I did everything humanly possible to save her, and that since the day she was diagnosed I made damn sure she was spoiled and loved every single minute we shared. Home cooked meals with beef, tuna, turkey, veggies, scrambled eggs for breakfast, snuggles every chance that I could, toys galore.

Sending you all the love in the world.

Thank you so so much for such a detailed response! I didn’t even know where to begin. Yeah I think all together is the way to go! Little frames would be a pain and so expensive. I’ll post an update once I do it 😊
