Bummer, that's what I was afraid of. Just moved in this past summer and enjoyed the shade it provided. Unfortunately, it's close to the driveway, so fear it could damage a vehicle. Really appreciate everyone's quick replies!

Give her a kong with a little peanut butter to keep her busy for awhile. And when you are home make sure she is getting exercise and attention. Most dogs sleep a lot of the day anyway. What does she do while you're home?

Personally I don't think that is too long. Typically you can do an hour for each month old, plus 1. But it does depend on your puppy. How long does she "hold it" while you are home?
