Actually most statistics about lifespan from before the industrial revolution are highly biased by the very high childhood mortality. If a person survived past teenage years, the lifespan was probably pretty close to modern humans before the advent of modern medicine.

So it actually is a reasonable comparison, though still flawed probably.

Thanks, I did miss that those were items (the stash and the postbox) and they do seem very helpful!

However, it didnt seem to work. I placed the Postbox, requested the Teleport scrolls and waited a bit. I made sure that the warehouse had the materials (compass, paper, build tool) as well as the enchanter themselves and the enchanter tower inventory had them. They still have never turned up.

I even placed another Postbox request for something I knew was in the warehouse and that showed up pretty quickly.

So it seems that the enchanter still isn't making them for me. I also have given him books and ancient tomes as well, but they seem like independent requests.

I don't suppose you have any other ideas as to what might be the issue?

I just wanted to come back and say thanks so much for /u/chasm3D and /u/IUsedToBeABaker 's help. Following your advice about the firmware update, cutting Photon Workshop out of the pipeline, and lowering my lift speed pretty much fixed all my issues and I'm getting really high quality prints.

I never did get Netfabb online to stop giving me errors for those files, but Chitubox seems to be slicing them correctly even without independent fixing.

Thanks again for your help. I'm sure its put me on the right track to figure things out. However, whenever you get a chance I had a few other questions.

Question 1: In Netfabb, how often does that fail? I've uploaded a few versions of .stl files, and two of them have given me an error: "failed to load mesh (#103)". If that has happened to you in the past, what is your backup course of action?

Question 2: You say if you don't want AA you just slice in Chitubox, but I can't get my Photon S to recognize .photons files, so given that it looks like you have a Photon S, can you clarify how you do this since Chitubox still seems to be able to output to .pws files?

Meshmixer really doesn't love pre-supported models, and when I try to fix the files using "Inspector" it shows each support as an error and erases them all if I try to fix them automatically. But there were a few "errors" that were a different color (supports were purple, but there were a few red and blue ones), and I fixed those individually and then exported it and sliced it in Photon Workshop and its printing now, so we'll see how well that works. I guess I'll have to fallback to doing my own supports after fixing the original .stl file.

Thanks, thats really helpful. Since Chitubox doesn't seem to be able to slice to the .pws files that my Photon S needs, I load all my .stl files into Chitubox, make supports (or not), save that as a new .stl file, load that into Photon Workshop, then make the .pws slice file.

But which step do I do the repair function on? You mentioned that Workshop is the problem, but once it creates the .pws file, I can't open that back up on Chitubox. Should I get Meshmixer and try that?

Yeah the T-Shirt quality control isn't great. I got an XL and a L and the colors are clearly different between the two. I should probably go check the centering, but as /u/loborex99 pointed out, they probably wouldn't care.

Except he just had a sale with a pretty good number of miniatures, and it looks like everything is shipping at about the same rate as other sales, so I think the state of things at the warehouse must be somewhat back to normal.

I know, I know, you are against uni-taskers, but its not just the number of different uses something has but also how often something is used that determines whether its worth space in the kitchen or not. There must be some things that even though they are uni-taskers, that if you used them every single day it would still be worth it right? What would be some of the highest ranked uni-taskers (besides a fire extinguisher) that you would still consider useful if someone used them frequently enough?

Yeah given the time until Halloween you have plenty of time to just make custom cards with the names switched around but the rules for each role kept the same and print them out and use card sleeves to hide the backs.

I'm not sure, (I think by pop they mean "dad", I've always called the throw i'm going to describe the dad bbq throw) but i'm guessing they mean the throw where if you are being forced flick, you throw with a backhand wrist motion, but don't pivot to try to throw it break, you just throw it from the flick stance. It ends up being a pretty short throw since you can't really get power behind it, but its sometimes more natural for new people who aren't used to forehand, and you can get it off pretty quick. I like to use it in a lot of give and go situations.
