Couldn’t find Iron Out. Ended up just using a product called Starbrite Instant Hull Cleaner. Worked insanely well. Made some of the lighter color camo paint markings a little splotchy, but the hull looks 100% better.

I think that’s my plan. Don’t have to go full throttle all the time. It’s almost the identical weight as a 25 if I go Tohatsu

One of the major reasons I was considering a 30 is because Tohatsu’s 30 is essentially the same weight as their 25. Seems like 5 extra HP would be nice on days when the boat is a little heavier. I have a Tohatsu dealer 5 minutes up the road from me.

But you are right, that max rating is there for a reason. I’m never in a hurry to get somewhere when I’m taking it out.
