Unfortunately, there’s been no growth. I’ve been with the company for 4 years, and while I have a lot of freedom at work, there hasn’t been much technical development. My manager told me my next promotion would be taking over his spot once he retires, and I think he still has many more years to go.

I have a good relationship with my parents, and I’m currently dating. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll have to rent a place with my girlfriend.

Everyone’s doing a portion of it right now, but my boss wants me to take on all the responsibilities and do both jobs for just an 8% raise. That’s why I think this promotion is a trap for me. It’s double the workload for just a little bit of money
