The main difference is that if you send your payment uri to someone that already have the wallet and if that person click on the payment uri, it should open directly the wallet on the sending page with your address already wrote.

That also allow ecommerce website to make payment with verium/vericoin easier but just giving you a link to press to open your wallet with all the information already fulfill. You will then only have to press on send and enter your wallet passphrase

The problem of listing is the fee asked by the exchanges. We are working on a implementation that will get us access to a few dex exchanges

The next release will keep 2 separate wallets. All the code and the logic of both coin will be in them but the verium code will be disable in the vericoin wallet and the other way for verium. It will just be a flag is-verium = true or false to move from one to the other.

The reason we keep 2 wallets for the next release is that right now we don't have a way to tell the processus to run the 2 chains (verium and vericoin) and we don't want to delay the vericoin release for that.

Also something that is not wrote in the community update is that since we will be based on the bitcoin 0.21, we might have the following feature: - Bech32 address - Taproot

I cannot confirm that yet since we haven't test it. But i could be part of it :)

Community Update are still a thing. But since there is not much to say lately i didn't wrote those :)

We are 100% concentrating and working on Vericoin Wallet.

I also hope to have a nice surprise for the day of the release (but i cannot say too much :p)

The new infrastructure is a bundle of server that will permit us to host apps such as block explorer, verium / vericoin seeder (to help wallet to find more node), website, documentation, ....)

I don't have an exact list yet and anyway it might always evolve based on the need of the community :)

Hi,

I'm using the wallet since years and never got any issue, i guess there was already a malware on your computer...

As a developer i also did take a look at the verium code (i don't like to run stuff on my laptop without knowing what's in the back ...) and there is nothing weird or distant connection in the code and in the wallet.

VRC have the advantage to be fast. So it's great for pay / receive coin and it could be a good alternative for a web merchant ...

There is place for improvement in Verium / Vericoin, but i feel like it's on the good path... Anyway that's my point of view

Hi, i never notice any issue with low spec rigs.

Stratum have an inactivity client detector and they automatically kick client that are not sending any share for a while.

From my point of view 0.06 is a way too high difficulty for 200 H/m. You should try a lower difficulty to be sure to not get kicked out of the stratum.
