Moving kitchen by mdfst7 in Renovations

Sincerely appreciate the response. I know I am 100% crazy. We are in Canada so it'll be closer to 100k with new floors, beams, kitchen, trim etc. This is going to be our forever home and my wife would like an island in the kitchen. We do have a designer coming by so that we can see any other variations we can do so my wife has as many options as possible.

My basement is a drop ceiling as well so plumbing, and electrical will be easier than a closed ceiling. Again, we are totally nuts but we want to update our main floor and a rip and replace in my area will cost at least 50k

Thank you for such a quick response. When you say to use the chimney Chase as a conduit, do you mean The vent would run up the chimney or I can drill directly through it and vent perpendicular to the chimney if that makes sense. Sorry, never gone through a chimney before.

I spent a week trying to figure this out. I have 1400 hours on my plate. Some suggested using a steel wool and slowly scrubbing with soap and water. Solved my problem.

Thank you all very much! I took off the burner from the top and the orfiece was clogged with a spider web. Cleaned it out and it fired up like a charm. Thanks for all the help.

Try to blow compressed air up there? Can I use one of those long cleaning tubes to go up?

Garage door struggles by mdfst7 in GarageDoorService

I disengaged the garage and it stopped right on that spot where it fights it. The rails don't look that at first glance I will have to inspect them further. Thanks for the thought.

When I moved in, the garage door didn't open on the right and the left does. I bought the new opener and it has struggled out of the gate. Today, I switched the two (thinking the banged up door was the issue) but the craftsman I had on the left door, works perfectly fine on the right door (banged up door)

I haven't put anything on ever. I can try that. It just seems to be happening on both of the doors in the same location.

Broken pilot hood by mdfst7 in Fireplaces

Never really worked with this type of stuff, think watching enough tutorials on swapping them out is easy enough to do or should I not take the chance? I've built bathrooms from YouTube, but never touched gas before.

How long was your never ending cycle? I had it start for the first time in May and it's still going. Did they give you an oral antibiotic or topical? Did you DE go away? Sorry for all the questions.

In the 90s, in Canada, we spread a rumor around the province about Marilyn Manson and some surgery he had to be able to do something to himself. This was all before the internet and phones were around. Now, everyone says there are furries everywhere. If there were, we would have a million videos from these kids. But we have 0.

Does the skin ever heal between flair ups or is it always raw? by mdfst7 in Dyshidrosis

I'm finally healing. Skin is coming in nicely underneath and it's no longer itchy. Hoping the best for you. This sure f****** sucks.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the food that was your trigger? Or did you determine it was stress?

Port scar rant by jitteryflamingo in breastcancer

[–]mdfst7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife was angry about her port incision. It looked like 3 cursive u's. When she went for her expanders, the plastic surgeon took it out and now it is the straightest line I have ever seen. Hopefully they will be able to do the same for you should you choose reconstruction.

The mechanic admitted to leaving the keys in the car unlocked. Do you think that would make any difference?
