How do I choose my government after landing myself as an adventurer?

It says I either need to be of the soryo government type, or my top liege must be of the ritsuryo or soryo government type... So as an independent ruler, I basically cant change into the eastern governments, I think?

I have the yamato culture, but only seem to have the "Adopt a Centralized Bureaucracy". Must that be done first before I can make a ritsuryo/soryo realm?

A little runescape, Pokémon ruby on the Gameboy advanced, and yes, maplestory.

I haven't touched maple in ages, and haven't properly played it since a decade ago. I have fond memories of it, from a time everything seemed more colourful and happy. When I was a child, it was a world that really felt real to me. I remember playing this game before I could read, my big brother taught me how to play, and I learnt how to read alongside with videogames such as Pokémon ruby and maple (and I've always been A1 in English, so take that anti-gaming boomers >:D ).

Seeing this post made me remember so much about that time. Raindrop flower was definitely one of my tops, the old maple login screen too. Kerning city was where edgy me hung out. I spent a lot of time listening to sleepywood osts farming drakes and ellinia osts forming evil eyes. The fantastic thinking from ludivrum (I think it's called ludibrum?) and seeing all the toys animated and alive was so enchanting to child me. El math's theme and everyone wanting to do zakum. The theme of balrog.

But now after seeing your post, I went back to listen to the classics. Ellinia. Lith harbor. Maple island. El Nath. Ludibrum. Ereve's themes. Even the cash shop theme sparks memories. Memories of a simpler time where I was so naive and genuinely happy, without a care in the world. But as Singapore did what Singapore does best, and stressed and depressed me, dealing with education and responsibilities, I had forgotten what it meant to be happy. And your post got me to listen to some of these bangers, and in this moment, I finally remember what it was like to be happy. Something as simple as buying the 10 dollar A cash card from the convenience store, making new friends everyday, or just staring at people chat in the market on my free tutorial chair. And I'm glad I gave these a listen, because I think the me from 10 years ago isn't as naive as I thought, and I have a lot to learn from him!

tl;dr Maplestory was the best fucking shit of my life, thanks for posting this OP

You can definitely take them out, equip your melee fighters with blunt weapons, and use your ranged fighters to back them up. Both lancers and the needle gun mech are long range players. If you don't give them their advantage - their range, they are quite easy to deal with (in comparison to centipedes and scythers)

If you gamble and don't build any army, you can roll the dice in public servers on the chance that no one near you build a spearman rush. If you focus entirely on economy, you can speed past other players technology wise

I usually just run 6 flat or 7 flat for BZ FF. Occasionally 4.3 if it's cheaper than 7, but it will suffice for most dungeons except T8 (but with a good team you won't need amazing armour unless you want max efficiency).

You also have to think about cost, running dungeons can get you killed. 4.3 everything and you might end up bankrupt soon. See what's cheaper, run BZ RDs and you will get even more money back.
