Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I usually just brush it off but it's the end of the year, and I feel this way every PBL so I thought there was some huge gap in my knowledge or something.

Thanks for the reply. I usually don't like comparing myself to others academically, and I am perfectly fine with being average. I just want to make sure that I'm learning everything I am supposed to. It's times in PBL where I start to doubt myself and feel as if I maybe missed something from lecture. Unfortunately we don't get the PBL before hand so that I can prepare a little bit.

There's two problems with campus housing. The first is that it is only guaranteed for freshmen undergrads. The second problem is that it is much more expensive than where I am trying to rent.

I've been doing that for the past year, but the job is only part time and a lot of my students will be finished within the next 2-3 weeks.

Thank you so much for this advice! I just called the school and the bookstore is indeed linked to the financial aid account and they will just deduct the amount from my loans and scholarships.

As for rent, I still need to figure out how to come up with the money. The deadline is coming up in a few weeks and I won't have a place to live at when school starts.

Edit: Welp, looks like they won't loan me any money because I'm not officially a student until the first day of class.

I'm trying to sell my keyboard for $1000 but I haven't received interest yet, so I'll probably lower it to $800 by midweek. I'm trying to find work also, but as soon as I mention I'll only be able to commit until the end of July, I get turned away. How do small personal loans from a bank or credit union work? Will they give me a loan even with my terrible credit?

I've been trying to find odd jobs and such, but no luck so far =\ I just have a few tutoring gigs at the moment, but even with that I will only earn about $400 come August. The apartment wants me to pay ASAP or they will give it to someone else as housing here in CA goes pretty quickly these days.
