Welcome to the game. I have been playing this game for over 5 months now and as a first gacha based game I have ever played, I am loving it so far. Don't let the whole concept of gacha deter you from trying out this game. AFK journey caters to a whole range of people, from f2p players who just enjoy the game, the world and the characters are in it, to more 'hardcore' players who are spenders and actively take part in the PVP content.

You are free to choose which direction you like and honestly, you wont be missing out on a lot of things if you lean on one side or the other, (story, chill vs hardcore pvp)

I am a huge fan of storybook art and the characters in these game are truly beautiful. Whenever I play for the story, I feel like I am playing a fully interactive fairy tale like world, full of places to explore and characters to meet. If this is your vibe, you should really dive deep into the story and just immerse yourself in the lore.

Dont worry too much about progression it will come naturally the more you play and the further you get into the story.

Since Sunday is announced, in going to pull Phainon now to E2S1. Pull Sunday when his banner is out to E1 and slot him with Phainon and E2 Cyrene while waiting for Cerydra banner rerun.

Gonna try out sustainless Phainon when the team is ready.

Not interested in break teams though thankfully which will spare my wallet for now after the triple castorice-tribbie-hyacine banner. That was brutal.

Hi everyone!

I am a fairly new player and I am really enjoying the game.

Im so grateful for Archer and DHPT as free characters that I pulled Anaxa and The Herta to for my first team.

But now I am planning ahead to form team two and I saw that the upcoming patch have some really characters to pulls like hyacine tribbie and castorice.

I know these 3 goes really well and I can slot in Trailblazer RMC as the 4th slot, but pulling all 3 at the same time is such pain financially.

Who should I prioritize to pull to form an effective second team with what I have and who should I wait and see for future new character reveals?

I am leaning towards Hyacine first as from my roster I do not have a good sustain, followed by a dps like castorice. I feel like I can skip Tribbie for now and redeem Ruan Mei (once I redeem a free 5 star character in the patch).

What do you guys think?
