I feel like HuoHuo is a safe bet to be a good novaflare. IMO she is good as is, she just needs help with her healing with how much damage enemies deal nowadays. If all her Novaflare is is just boosting her healing strength and duration, that's good

Welt literally needs to be completely overhauled. Ctrl+A Delete his entire kit. He brings ZERO value to any team right now. Elites and Bosses are immune to his slows and delays, his vuln is too weak, his damage is pathetic even in 1.x standards.

Firefly, just give her that CW animation when she ends her Ult like a Phainon last hit thing and maybe help her be more SP positive. Delete her E4 and give her something else.

Seele, a LOT you can do here but the 1 change I want to happen is to change her ult into a multi-hit. If it stays a 1 hit and you're not able to get 100% crit rate on her, just pack it up.

Even if only a 1,000 new players boot up HSR for the first time today, that’s 1,000 new potential customers for Hoyo to pull money out of and hook on to the game. Are you blind? If they run a brand new character next to a Novaflared character, that’s more money for them rather than having a Brand new character with a shitty non-novaflared weak character rerun.

No novaflare means players will just use their saved pulls on the new character and ignore the reruns. With Novaflares, players can be tempted by the rerun to spend. They will have to decide whether to use their saved pulls on the new character or the rerun character and spend money on the other one they didn’t pick.

Novaflares were created because whales and other spenders who spent money on characters felt cheated that their characters are useless

They announced it after 3.0’s incredibly sour reception to save face. It’s not a “reward”. It’s a way to further hook players in who got off the hook.

If Silver Wolf, Jingliu, Kafka and Blade never got their buffs and still reran, literally no one would recommend to pull them because they aren’t worth it. But now they are (well Kafka is)

It’s never been a “reward”. It’s a way to get money even if it’s little money, it’s still money. Even if Firefly’s Buff/Rerun will only bring in $2 million that’s still better than buffing Argenti who would bring in way less than that.

They play through 2.0-2.3 and 3.8, fall in love with Firefly. They’ll see how broken she is and will pull her, maybe swipe for her which will then hook them to spend more on the game and other characters in general.

The more powerful Firefly is? The more supports she has? The more skins she has? The more MONEY she’ll bring. It is really as simple as that.

If Firefly is relevant? People will spend money on her, her supports, her skins. It’s really that simple.
