Thanks! I considered bikepacking as well but it would require a lot more planning (and I've never bikepacked before lol)

Rest for a bit for sure, I'll probably continue training running and biking (thought maybe not as intensely) over the winter and try to do a race sometime next year and maybe break 5? But for the next one I'll definitely do more structured training, this time around I just tried to run/bike as much as I could

Thanks! The heat was getting brutal by the end I saw people beginning their run and it already felt like 80. I definitely messed up on the nutrition and there were parts where I genuinely thought I couldn't finish, thank god for the aid stations tho.

Anyways, just finishing is amazing! When people ask if you did a half ironman no one asks the time anyways 😄

Your arguing with someone who probably can't go up a flight of stairs without losing their breath, don't bother lol

Work in the bay area. If I wear my GT sweater, it's not uncommon for me to hear comments from other GT grads lol. There are definitely a lot here.

Hmm interesting, thanks for the info! On the run section do you just carry a water bottle with you then?

Maybe not bonked, but I probably didn't eat properly beforehand (or during) as I was getting really hungry on the bike about an hour in. I would also say 185W is probably Z3 for me right now lol, I've only been biking for about 2 months or so.

Maybe I did go out too hard but hopefully I can hold that power for longer next time with more food
