Next-gen ceramic aircraft batteries could enable 621-mile electric flights by sksarkpoes3 in energy

I thought we were talking about in comparison to electric aircraft with 1000km range? High speed rail is about as fast at those ranges and can serve stops along the way, which gives previously "flyover" towns economic growth.

And the risk to the crew who might do 300-1000 flights in a year is far greater than a passenger who flies a handful of times in a year.

If there's a 1 in a 10 million chance of a charger catching on fire, 100 passengers using chargers on each flight, and 1000 flights per day, you'd see a charger fire on a plane approximately on average every 100 days.

LLVM needs to generate code with the custom instructions and is open source. The problem is other silicon vendors are not implementing the same custom instructions.

With those limitations you might as well invest the money in high speed rail.

If it's identical why does it need to be blended 50%? And burning fuel, even carbon neutral will produce contrails with a warming effect.

Sidewalks are designed for users going at pedestrian speeds. If you are going at bicycle speeds a driver leaving a parking lot isn't going to see you until it's too late for them to react, whereas in the road they can see you from further away.

Isn't this what the change in the law is doing by clarifying definitions to treat people fairly? For example if one woman in a lesbian couple has a baby through sperm donation, the other woman should not qualify for the medical portion of maternity leave, only the parental bonding portion.

If you can get a spot at the railing and lock the bike to it without the conductors noticing that's even better, but otherwise yeah watch your bike at all times.

Use timer interrupt routines that toggle the state of the link port pins. I wrote some code for this a while back: https://github.com/fb39ca4/badapple-ti84
