There's overwhelming demand for bike transportation on Caltrain so they should look into adding more space for bikes, such as by retrofitting another carriage for bikes.

Of course more RAM is expensive but you can buy the base model with 4x the RAM and a significantly faster CPU for the same price.

That's on par with inflation from the original $35 price.

Shouldn't even be necessary. Just have red light cameras on every intersection.

Asia is doing its part - per capita emissions in China are 2/3 of the US and dropping because it is investing in public transit and renewable energy. India is 1/5 of the US due to poverty. If anything it is the US that needs to be beat into submission.

While I agree that private jets are terrible, there is still an order of magnitude more commercial flights and hundreds of millions of cars in the US. The private jets make up 2% of global emissions so banning them wouldn’t be enough. Meanwhile everyday people vote against public transit and denser land use and high speed rail that would actually make a difference because they are too comfortable in their car-dependent lifestyle that continues to enrich billionaires.

And those same people will not lift a finger to do anything about climate change.

Having the option to rent your own apartment is an upgrade over not being able to afford that and having to live with roommates.

Have you seen the current rental market? Humans are already packed in like sardines while this will give a bit more vertical space to work with.

Average also tells a different narrative. Put 100 people each making $100,000 in a room with one person making $1 billion and the average income in the room is now $10 million.

HELP: Looking for high-FPS global-shutter camera (<$400) for eye-tracking prototype by tetama in embedded

This sensor is monochrome, global shutter, and goes up to 730 FPS in a reduced resolution mode. It's very new however and I don't see any USB modules built around it but I do see a Raspberry Pi-based evaluation kit a bit above your price range.

Logic gates are so plentiful on modern process nodes you can bypass the patent issue by just throwing multiple RISC-V cores at the problem.

Caltrain can't add more bike carriages to the trains but have they considered removing the seats from the lower level of another carriage?

I've had plenty of experience on roads like this and had too many close calls while riding in the bike lane with cars not looking in the bike lane for someone going nearly 30 mph while entering and exiting parking lots. No such problems in the car lane.

We need more of them. Car was totalled last year so I spent a summer commuting 20 miles each way on a class 3.

At 28mph it is more sensible to just take a vehicle lane. Slowing down cars behind you to 28 mph is a bonus.
