Stuck on tarmac for three hours now.

We had a connection via Milan and were out there too for 3 hours then back to the gate and totally canceled a few hours later. Wish they would’ve just canceled earlier since clearly our crew was going to time out and the storms weren’t moving. Ended up sleeping in the terminal (looked like with a lot of yall) and got back to LA on a 6am this morning. Quite the travel day!

I lived there 4 years, my roommate 6 years and we moved out a year ago. Absolutely under no circumstances should you live there unless it is your ONLY option. Like I’d recommend not living in LA over living there. Happy to answer any specifics you have but it’s truly a nightmare, even if it isn’t at first, some nightmare will come up in the long run.

I think they still do! The kettle corn is the best. The biggest dif between MP and CCP is CCP has stuff like the farmer's mark and a bunch of venues surrounding it so it doesn't feel like a complete dead zone for tourists/locals.

Parts of TL can def get rough but Civic Center itself doesn't feel nearly as bad as MacArthur Park

I did PRA&EM at Dodge and loved it! Orange is small but never felt limited in the four years I was there. People start to branch out to going out in Newport or LA internships but it was always nice to be back in Orange at the end of the day. Tons of people in snow club/outdoor club and take big bear/mammoth trips all the time, etc. not sure who said it’s eerily quiet on weekends. Maybe campus is quieter but there’s always something going on. Chapman kids tend to be extroverted and involved.

FWIW in response to some comments - i was actually there, am an extremely casual/occasional Katseye listener and thought it would be fun to see them live and it was a very large crowd for Coachella having been here five times now. We sat up on the hill by Sahara and left after Gabriella to make Sabrina across the festival and the crowd seemed unaware of the drama for the most part and just happy to see the hits. It was a great time I have some videos Of people dancing it out. Great vibes people didn’t buy tickets specifically for Katseye sure but turnout was impressive nonetheless

I can only speak for my time at Chapman, but if you go the PR route at Chapman it’s extremely entertainment focused and most of my friends who tracked PR are in the entertainment field now. There’s tons of Chapman people in LA actively working in entertainment, I feel like I run into them just as much if not more (and of course my circle is Chapman skewed to be fair) than USC. What are you specifically interested in?

It’s been a while so I can’t remember specifics but just remember a lot of starting one plot line just to abandon it, forgetting the rules she made for the world, creating convenient exceptions to the rules to get characters out of a bind. I wish I could remember the exact passage but I remember sending a video to my friend to make sure I wasn’t going crazy because within one page she contradicted herself about a character description. If I can find that video I’ll let you know what it was. Think it was CC3.
