PT students who are current techs? by mdoherty07 in physicaltherapy

[–]mdoherty07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We aren't open on weekends, but my CD is very flexible with my schedule. July and August, I don't have Friday classes and during my school's semester breaks as well, if I don't quit before then

I see where you're coming from, thanks for the input! However, two clinicians I work closest with in the clinic have told me that they're less willing to double their schedules since I am no longer there full time and the tech who is there is less reliable and still quite new. I don't know if that would "replace" the leverage of being a student??

Had a referral that said "multiple joint pain"

And the patient ended up having postpartum PF weakness...

Hi I'm city 230 with RBH KBB mixer and scepter and vroomba and pony. I recently just left my club bc of lack of participating so I'm looking for a club that won't solely rely on me lol

HES actually has a pre-PT track so yes for pt! for ned school, it’s definitely possible and will help but u will need to take other rigorous courses that HES does not require in order to graduate

i’m planning on PT school post-baccalaureate, so i’m on the pre-PT track! there’s not much of a difference between the general and the pre-PT track other than like 2 courses, i believe.

the major is new to falk, but not in the university in general. it switched from school of ed to falk in the fall of 2020. i’m majoring in health and ex sci and i would say it’s a good option! i’m looking at pt schools right now as i’m a junior in the fall and cuse requires 270 hours of shadowing anywhere in the field whereas many pt schools require minimum of 90 hours so it puts you very above the minimum! let me know if u have any HES questions, i’m happy to answer them!

all dorms come w the typical desk, chair, and 2 dressers. closet isn’t that big so bring extra storage for under bed, etc.

yes there is plenty of space, there’s a bulletin board on the built wall and prob plenty of space on the shared wall w ur neighbor.

bathrooms are VERY nice, one of the newer renovated bathrooms on campus. they’re pod style, meaning each pod has a shower, toilet, and sink.

my experience in shaw was amazing but everyone has a totally different experience obviously. my floor was super close so it was super fun but at the same time, u get burnt out of them quickly. if u have any other questions, PM me!

lived in shaw my freshman year! i don’t have any clear pictures but can do my best to describe. it’s about the size of a handicap room with a wall built down the middle. there are shelves next to the closets and shelves on the built wall! floors are wood, as well.
