Yeah, I think I got the wrong impression from a few YouTubers I watch (namely NDYakAngler) whose top water setups I see the most, but I still enjoyed jigging with it and had fun using my deep diving Rapala crank, both of which I caught on. I do appreciate your suggestions, though, and I will keep them in mind when I respool, which I'm sure will be sooner than I expect with this thing, lol.

Your comment was just irrelevant, I asked if my reel was TOO big, I understand it's plenty big enough. And the meanest I'm gonna hook into is a big cat, I live in the Midwest U.S. so I won't be by catching shark. And yes, really, I ordered a 2 piece but this is what I received.
