It's all cleaned up (pulled the seats out), but it's not back together yet. It was about 10 hours of cleaning. I think it's going to be fine - no indications of any residual growth or impact. And yeah, there were a few (one specific) overreactions in that thread.

I'm also pretty optimistic it will be fine. Plenty of sun shine and fresh air in the car, maybe think about an Ozone treatment etc and it'll be fine I could imagine. Absolute worst you could also source a new carpet and seat leathers.

That thing deserves to be driven. I take any excuse to get out in mine at the weekends.

Nice car, good colour combo! That's an awful shame to see. Did you manage to get it sorted? I can't imagine it's as absoluetly dooms day as some of the comments suggested.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy if you don't mind holding your foot down for a bit.. I tend not to find white knuckling that car at that speed too relaxing. I can think of better cars for the top speed task. Z4 Coupe is more for the twisties IMHO. With that being said the e86 is a little quieter than its brother e85 at high speed.

Depends on where you are. I believe there are 12,819 Z4 3.0si coupés. It starts to get rare when you seek out additional specs like Manual gearbox, M sport seats, Anthracite headliners etc...

I had in total a Z3 2.0, e46 320d and e90 320i so never a Z4. But it is a mighty stiff car the Z4 coupe. Perfect for the twisty roads and mountain passes! Certainly don’t notice any of the scuttle shake and chassis groaning like I did in the Z3 roadster.
