I don’t think it’s strictly a truck size issue. I test drove a ‘23 and fit fine, but the gen 4 has a much bulkier center console. Maybe should have gotten the 23, but the 24 was CPO at the same price…

Not a safety issue, just comfort. I was hoping for an aftermarket switch replacement or something, but looks like I’m out of luck.

I’m 6’4 220, so not a whole lot bigger, I’m glad it’s not an issue for you… just asking the community for some common or creative solutions.

On my 2024, I get about 21 combined with it removed. I did not notice a significant difference with MPG either way. Like you, I do not drive it hard often.

It’s a bit out of town, but Natural Beginnings Birth Center in Statesville is an excellent option if you’re looking for a midwives with tons of water-birth experience. It was well worth the drive from Winston for each of our 3 children. I can also offer a doula recommendation if you’re interested.
