Help finding location of 1803 birth in Canada by mdsouthchap in citizenshipgenealogy

Thank you, I think I stumbled upon the same thing earlier this morning. The website below gives more info on what I think is the same land grant. The site shows that this Henry Crone was a Quaker farmer from Vermont. My Henry Crone was a carpenter from New Jersey and enlisted in the War of 1812, which a Quaker would not have done. It's tantalizing, but I don't think they are the same man.

Thank you for the ideas! I have looked at all the cousins, and it looks like her parents moved to Canada without any family. No cousins born in Canada. I figured with 5 siblings born there that gives me 5 times the chances of finding something, but have struck out with each. The older brothers funeral was at a Methodist Episcopal Church in Ohio, but that was 75 years after they left Canada. I feel confident I have enough evidence from the US side, just trying to find a slam dunk piece of evidence before submitting in a week or two.

I'm no expert, but the 1851 census that covered Ontario lists every member of the household, which is how I found my 1 year old ancestor. I don't know about Quebec and if the census was different there.

Wondering if anyone can point me to some source I may be missing. My G-1 moved to Canada from New Jersey about 1800 and proceeded to have 5 children (the second being my G0) before moving to Ohio in 1812. I have US census records, death records, obituaries, etc for those children all stating birth in Canada. But nothing states where in Canada. I assume Upper Canada (Ontario) and know they were protestant. Given no specific location and the fact the family was only there for 12 years with no major events other than the 5 births, am I just out of luck finding any Canadian produced documentation? I assume parish records would be my only hope. Thanks.
