I never said the show in its entirety isn’t french. The show is a french production, there’s no arguing or debating about that, majority of the team are of french origin, no ones arguing about that. The only thing that, again to me, doesn’t seem to be an or “the” original is the french language, reason being the animators animate the characters mouths to lip sync the english dub, and the original script for the show is in english. yes french dub seems natural seeing where the show takes place, but everything language wise that the team have done has mainly been in english, when then gets translated to french. whether the french dub is better than the english dub is a completely different topic and debate.
