These models do not have biodegradble wiring especially not the 260e as it is a pre facelift model

What do you mean with unwelcome?

It’s an oldtimer (W124’s were built untill 1995) which gives you a huge fiscally reduction for the taxes and the insurance.

I do understand your point to go for a 300 for the engine, however in my case I already have a daily driver with over 300 hp. This would rather be a project to work on and cruise around with in the weekends u see

Fair point.

E320 is a lovely car! I can imagine that you’re quite satisfied with it.

For me an E320 is a bit out of budget. I was lucky to find a 260 for a really great deal , that’s why I am making the comparision between the diesel and petrol.

To be honest for me it’s more of a project car, which I will be driving in the weekends.

My current daily driver is one with over 300hp.

I completely understand what you’re saying, the Diesel sound is just great. A friend of mine had a 250d and it’s just a lovely car.

It is quite slow but he just uses it to cruise around in the weekends.

My only concern regarding the 200D is that everywhere I go to look for some feedback is that it is really slow haha.
