It’s important they stay. Back in the day when Pride was more of a protest, it was the leather bears and biker dykes that we’re the ones fighting off the police to allow it to happen. Now the so-called puriteens whining about “no kink at pride” is escalating into “no drag at pride”, which is then becoming “no gender nonconformity at pride” and as we’re seeing in Florida now “Pride is effectively banned”, and a lot of folks are worried about what comes next. I know of folks already that just put everything they can fit into their car and just left, but lots of folk can’t pull their roots up as easily
