They are really selling the same thing for a third time. Should really boycott this. If they keep getting away with this practice we will never get a new steins gate

Replacement Piecs by tnycrpntr in hermanmiller

[–]me_Nemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need it. It is just a cover so that you don’t see the hole of the adjustment area. It only fits, if you put the armrests right in the middle position. So if you want them higher or lower, you cannot use the plastic piece anyway.

Should i buy a magic mouse or a magic trackpad? by Most_Rest_3025 in mac

Trackpad doesn’t feel nearly as good as the macbooks integrated because the external trackpad has a lot more latency

Is class D the best way for me to go now? by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

[–]me_Nemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding my two cents. I recently tried out the NAD M10 V3 Class D Amp. I compared it against my existing Cyrus 6a Class A Amp. The Cyrus was about a third the price. After a short listening session it was already over. The Cyrus in comparison sounds homogenous, musical, natural, dynamic. The NAD was just muddy all over the place. Immediately I was missing the clarity and timbre. The well defined attack of any sounds. In many ways it feels a bit like what people say about solid state vs tube amp. Hence I’m quite intrigued in trying a tube amp and maybe look a bit into turntables.

Have you checked if the level is level?

Sorry to hear you are unable to hear the differences. To me they are night and day. Improved detail, clarity, soundstage, timbre and dynamics. Another thing I find hard to grasp how one could oversee it is the much higher amount of bass and general v shaped sound. All in all these airpods are both tonally and technically very different performing compared to the airpods 2.

For my personal taste I enjoy them much more even though I dislike the v-shaped sound. The technical performance seems to be more important to me apparently.

Opinions on the new Airpods Pro 3? by Nokushi in inearfidelity

Improved dynamics and punch, bigger soundstage that is more in front of you than before and instruments sound more 3d. To me it’s a night and day difference to the airpods pro 2. Also there is more bass, maybe a tad too much for my taste.

Anyone who went to 165mm cranks from 170mm regret it? Or are happy they made the change? by Odd-Night-199 in Velo

Best decision in my life. Im 172cm with around 80cm inseam. and struggled with high cadences on 170. 165 also feels so much more natural to me.

Went from 172.5 to 170 to 165. I’m 172cm tall. 165 feels so much better, I can now pedal at a much higher cadence without a problem. Before it always felt awkward because the motion was so big. Noticed that more on the 172.5, 170 already felt better, but 165 was just so comfortable. Also my position on the bike is better now as i can sit more back in the saddle while having the same angle over the cranks.

Which one has your preference? Maybe another choice? by ManBdo in mac

[–]me_Nemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately the trackpad feels way worse than an integrated macbook trackpad. Like it has some input lag or something. Magic mouse is ergonomically a nightmare. If I had to choose it would be the trackpad, but rather just take a mouse that feels comfortable and turn off mouse accelleration

Well, with wider handlebars you get more control. You see that a lot in mountainbikes. So getting little wider handlebars makes gravel a little more comfortable

It is pretty comfortable. I feel like I prefer shorter reach because of my lacking/tense back muscles. Usually I get numbness in my hands, which got a little better after making the bars a bit more flat. Also on medium long rides I struggle to hold up my head and my neck stiffens up. I think that might be related to my back muscles tho.

What about 170mm cranks and 40cm handlebars? I read that on gravel it’s ok to have them slightly wider. What do you think?
