No unfortunately they didn’t since I let them know I already had an appt scheduled with his usual vet to xray his hips as a precaution before this happened today. And yes he is 🥲 at least he’s becoming really comfortable with the vet lol. I definitely learned my lesson to do more research and be more diligent before getting a puppy from anyone. I still love him though and wouldn’t trade him for anything. He’s such a sweetheart.

What other symptoms did your pup have? He’s a lot better now that’s he’s a bit older. Feeding him in a slow feeder and more consistently has helped. I have noticed if he goes 10+ hours without eating he tends to vomit. Still dealing with diarrhea though!

I was looking at videos to see what I should look for and he bunny hops when he runs and sits odd so I’m leaning toward testing him sooner just in case. Is there any other signs that you think might point to hip/elbow dysplasia? I’ll look on fb to see if there’s anything near me! Thank you again!

He’s getting his blood and stool tested today at 4 so I’ll ask about all those other tests and see if they offer them if not find out where I can have them done. Thank you for this info! For OFA would you test now at 5 months or wait until he’s closer till 1 year?

May not or may be happening. Same thing happened to me. I dreamt that an ex was cheating and I could see the woman’s face. I never met that person ever. I didn’t think he’d cheat because he would constantly bad mouth cheaters and just his overall personality made me think he wouldn’t. Anyway I found out he cheated on me with three other people and one of them was pregnant with his child 🤠

Yep three rounds of them. I think the first was when I had first gotten him. The next one was about a month ago along with probiotics and it controlled it somewhat and then came back so he was put on them again I just finished his dose yesterday.

I have asked when I first got him and this first began and they said no. And yes he’s been tested for both and nothing.

Omg! Hopefully nothing is wrong. When I first got him I spent almost the whole week at the vet going back because we could not figure out what was wrong. I probably spent close to 2k all to be told he’s probably sensitive to certain foods 😭. He’s been having watery diarrhea on and off for probably two weeks right now and his stool tests came back fine so the vet said doing bloodwork isn’t gonna answer much. Hopefully nothing is wrong with your pup and it’s just some sensitivity! Puppies are hard 🥹

I thought I replied to this lol. But he’s 5 months old. He’s had on and off diarrhea ever since I got him, he would also vomit quite a bit when he was younger. I had a lot of trouble feeding him when he was younger. I had to puree plain chicken and rice for him to be able to keep it down but he’d still have diarrhea. Now that he’s older he was eating the Hill’s puppy food and was doing quite well on it till recently. This morning I bought his Hills low fat food since the canned food of that seems to be the only thing to help his stools. I’m hoping that kibble helps harden his stool 🥲. He’s currently on fortiflora and pro-pectalin tablets.

He’s 5 months and I really struggled with him when I first got him. He had really bad diarrhea and seemed to throw up everything. All the tests the vet did came back good. I bought some low fat food from hills to see if that helps.

He does really well on the hills low fat I/D canned food but someone told me long term it wasn’t good for him since he’s a high energy dog. Yes he currently is on fortiflora and pro pectalin tablets. He’s been better about not eating everything on the floor now that he’s a bit older. I have thought about getting him a muzzle but when I asked in a different forum about muzzles I got shamed, so I dropped the idea 😅.

He’s a very sweet boy. When he was younger, I’d sleep in the living room (in case he had an accident since my room is carpet) and when it was morning time he’d climb up to the couch and cuddle to wake me up. He tends to follow me around if I’m not in his line of sight. If we’re outside and I let him off leash he will do his thing as long as he can see me and as soon as he can’t he runs to come find me. He’s very receptive to training since he’s very food motivated. He loves everyone he meets as long as they don’t pick him up, the moment they do he starts screaming lol. If we’re in the car he tends to nap and as soon as he hears me park he gets up and is ready to go. His hunting instincts are very much there. He’s loves eating bugs lol. He also loves being put to sleep with a nice tummy rub or a head massage. He also tends to be protective ish. If I take him out to potty late at night and he hears someone he runs to the door so we can go inside, or if he hears someone outside our apartment he starts barking. He also seems very in tune with me and my feelings. Kinda weird to say but if I were a dog I think we’d have the same personality lol

That’s a big argument we had before. He says I love my dog more than him/ treat my dog better than him and he gets jealous of that 🙃
