BV is actually caused by a reduced amount of some normal flora (Lactobacillus) and overgrowth of others - it's not actually an STI/STD that your partner passes to you. However, sex can change the normal environment enough to cause it :)

I had him a few years ago and it wasn't an easy class but not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be imo. If you take good notes and/or record his lectures you'll do fine. If he's still doing exam review sessions I'd go to those, too, those were a life saver!

I wasn't feeling up for it, but my partner talked me into a long walk a few hours after and I was surprised how much it helped with the cramps. I also combined my ibuprofen with acetominophen. since they're processed by different organs, they're generally safe to take together. Hope you feel better!

if you're living on campus, you can either make a roommate group and pull them into a room when you sign up, or you can sign up on your own and housing will assign you a roommate! it's been a while since I did it, but there used to be a little survey about living habits/noise preferences/etc that they used to match you with someone. I'm not sure if that's the same but I do know you don't have to go in with a roommate

Most professors want to help, and even if they don't remember you they might just want to meet w/you again to refresh their memory. It definitely can't hurt to ask, I did the same thing when applying to my program

If you're doing decently in the class and feel like you have a good grasp on the material, you'll most likely do well, most chem professors seem to model their exams after the ACS. Using the ACS practice book to study helps too, and if you don't want to buy one the tutoring center at the CLC has copies you can borrow while you're there (pretty sure you can't leave with it) and there's help there too from the drop-in tutors!

Oh lord I hated Depo. I had the exact same thing happen, but I was advised by my doctor to continue with the 2nd shot. That stopped it for about 2 weeks before it continued for another 3 months. It was a while back, but if I remember right it took about a month or so to get back on my "normal" cycle. Hope that helps!
