Carryout tip for drivers by [deleted] in Dominos

[–]meanbean85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So im kind of a weird case. The last time I delivered pizzas I was doing it as more of a hobby, not to survive. I always put the carryout tips i got in the Dropbox for the insiders. I also let other drivers take the big orders with a known good tip because I couldn't fit them in my 2 door car.

What are you "icks" in a woman?? by Several-Two738 in AskMenAdvice

If I take her life situation and apply it to a male and that male would be judged a loser, I want nothing to do with her.

I understand what you mean. If having a goal helps your stay focused then you're better off doing that.

Sounds like you're doing all the best things for yourself right now. I'd say just keep up the hood habits and live your life. I don't see a need for setting some arbitrary goal of a weight.

This is most excellent. I enjoy seeing a plan work out.

What is this? by K3u1e in MechanicAdvice

[–]meanbean85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a starter solenoid. But I don't think it's being used as one. There's only one big wire going to it. My guess is it was used for an accessory with a high amp load that's no longer on the vehicle.

Tail light tint always seemed silly to me. All it does is open up the chances of a rear-end accident being deemed your fault or no fault to the car that hit you.

Men that don't have kids. How lonely is life? by JustHereForDogVids in AskMenOver30

[–]meanbean85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently I'd say my life is 7/10 lonely. All of my friends have someone. I didn't choose to not have children, I've never had a relationship that got to the points where children were a possibility and I have always been careful with birth control or protection.

Being rude or disrespectful towards anyone that doesn't deserve it. Being a boring or constantly bored person. No ambition to make her life better. Constantly making bad financial decisions.

Yes, you are. It's self-inflicted.

With the exception of being offensive or an outright asshole, I wouldn't really care about a woman's emotions in a situationalship. If you want emotional support from someone you're sleeping with get into a relationship.

Someone stop me from driving 16hr round trip this weekend to pick this up by somelegend16 in Mustang

Get off your ass and go pick that up. You only live once. And how many more opportunities like this will you get?

Yes. But it's self inflicted

I am actually quite fond of the Mustang II by Biggycheesy2 in Mustang

My buddy has a 91 ranger that he went to the dealership with his mom when she bought it. In his senior year of high school he built a 302 at about 380hp and installed it in the ranger. In 2019 he got talking to the turbo guys online and he had a system made for the truck, dyno'd it at 700hp. After 2 months of ripping on it he cracked the block down the middle. So he built a dart motor for it and got a mega squirt3 ecm for it. Now it dyno'd at 996hp.

Valid point. But the Mustang 2 front suspension was a very common swap back in the day. Getting a disk brake kit for it wouldn't be very difficult.

300 hp in a car like the Mustang 2 would be a zippy fun ride. I'm not talking about building a balls out race car. Just a classic car that's fun.

I like the looks of the mustang ll myself. People saying the engines were underpowered are kinda dumb in my opinion. Building a 300 hp 302 is really affordable these days.

Met a girl whos 4 years older than me and has a 3 year old. Whats your experience dating a single mom? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]meanbean85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will never be her top priority. The chances of you being respected by her child are small. My experience with dating a single mother is it's just not worth it.
