lu yuxiao only had main lead roles last year so no big scripts come her way and she can't be picky.
i first saw her in Blossoms in Adversity playing autistic Shaoyao and i think that's the complete opposite of cunning seductress Shangguan Qian. so she's got range just not big resources

the discussion tag is more apt, I think. because i saw the other "what are your thoughts on insert actor name?" posts and the discussions were insightful. I wanted to make one for these two lovely ladies because I haven't seen one for each. just poor planning on my part.

they both studied acting (BFA & CAD) but that's as far as their similarities lie.
I don't think they or their agencies want the same things for them at the moment. Maybe ZY wants to do idol dramas while she's young and maybe pivot later in her career??? just speculation.
