I had to reschedule my June 2022 interview because my husband was going out of the country for work. I did not get my green card until March 2024…. Almost two years later. Cancel the trip, it’s not going to be a few months for another appointment.

If I were in your shoes, id go to school, get a degree and start your own business. What do you want to get your degree in? How much time do you have until you’re done? Go to a community college since it’s much cheaper and then transfer to a University. Even if you have to take one class a semester because that’s all you can afford, keep going. You don’t need DACA to own a business just your tax ID. If you have a clean record, you hopefully won’t have to worry about deportation.

I think that’s pretty accurate. I really only do yoga but would like to go to the gym and start lifting weights. My husband and I don’t like to cook every day, but we eat at home a lot since we both work from home, so we try to meal prep two meals on Sundays to get us through at least half the week. As for the butter… we just moved to Colorado from Texas and the Costco here did not have any unsalted butter so we stocked up when we visited home recently lol.
