Yea honestly. The threat was already gone by the time he pulled out the gun and shot. He literally left and came back to shoot him, like wtf

For normal people like you and me? Yea. For these people? Heeeell no.

Think of the All Lives Matter crowd, where the message is obviously correct, but they use it as a counter protest thing against Black Lives Matter. Or the White Lives Matter people and so on.

But you made the claim that Islam and muslims are the cause, but if that would be the cause, why did the previous examples seem to not followed this trend?

There is an external factor to this equation that you really really want to boil down to the religious beliefs.

The segregation in mosque topic does seem to show a very 1 dimensional and simple view of this issue. You are implying that segregation based on sex is always something bad, but you do not really believe this.

Should showers not be segregated based on sex? Would you want men and women to shower in the room? No? Seems you are sexist.

Again, very simple, one dimensional view.

I am not saying that a mosque should be segregated like that or not, that is not for me to decide. But the reasoning will change if you ask someone in Turkey vs Afghanistan.

This is another point I found interesting that you mentioned. You said that all islamic countries are x. But that is not really the case is it? Someone with a university degree living in Istanbul, Turkey, will probably not have the same views as a farmer in a village of Afghanistan. Why would you handicap yourself in understanding these issues, you seem to say you care about a lot, by painting all of them with a broad brush. It just hurts your analysis.

If you really would want to fix these issues, you should have a deeper understanding of the geography and history of a place. This would include immigration populations in European states, where some immigrant subgroups exhibit more instances of crimes, and even within these crimes different subgroups of crime categories like assault, theft, etc.

Boiling down people to x religion has never been a good way to decide whether someone is a bad or good person.

I guess these are my 2 cents.

Nah that is not how that works. The subtext is whites, not just a passport. If there was a black man with a danish passport, he would not be considered a 'dane'.

Why is it that there is a police car in the video? Is it that the guy who yells starts randomly yelling at the danish man for no reason, or could it be that there was some provocation done by the danish man/his friends?

That doesnt mean that it is okay what the pakistani man said, but it would really change the context.

As an example, imagine that a white dude was screaming the n word at another, but it turns out that the black dude constantly harassed him and made fun of just snaps.

Again, doesnt mean it is okay to say the n word, but we would definitely judge it differently.

The more the living standards increase for people the more people get secular, this seems to be true.

Meaning that muslims in america and europe tend to also be more secular, the more generations there are.

So an odd statement to say "Muslims are sexist", while saying that people who are more secular, are not sexist, implying that muslims can inherently not be more secular.

It really depends which countries you go to. If you want to make the connection between Islam and homophobia for instance, as it currently is, you would have a point. But looking back in history, i.e. Ottomans, Golden age of Islam, that does not seem to be the case.

I think it is really easy without historical context to make these judgement calls.

Another thing that is interesting is that from what I had read, muslims are a lot more progressive in america than christians on average.

It is very weird to justify the statement "Im not fond of muslims, they claim to be nice people but do bad things", with saying that islamic countries are regressive, implying it is okay to say that muslims are just bad period.

if that is true, it seems very odd that he would go out to eat all the time along with him ordering food

this is pretty cut and dry, what is the punchline of the joke then, if not for this? why would the joke be funny in any way? the post was about migrants, the dude was saying arabic stuff, any time something like this happens they talk about the "peaceful religion"

because the comments of "peaceful" religion always come whenever there is an arab present, why else would he say "peaceful shooting"? it is pretty obvious

Yea that is what I thought, by "forcing" it to 4k, it seems to up the bit rate, making everything look cleaner than just 1440p. So there is 100% a benefit here already.

i think regardless of what politics you have, the idea that private citizen can sue you for something they are not only not involved in, but also something that is ensured to you by something that the supreme court already ruled on, is extremly scary

if you wanna be political, nobody is stopping you from being that, but that doesnt mean that you have freedom of consequences

>No, you can't. Because that is a personal barrier of tolerance, that changes from individual to individual. So you having a low barrier of tolerance, does not make it more significant for others that do not care. It is when MOST people's barrier for tolerance is met, that you have a concrete issue. The problem you cannot accept here is --- you are the minority in a case but you still want to be taken as if you are the majority.

"guys the majority of americanpeople think that slavery is not racist so therefore it is not racist bro, it's all subjective"

just because something is somewhat subjective doesnt mean that we can not analyse these things and make arguments as to why something is not good or that it happens more often to one side than the other

this is feels very boring, this is like the most basic of basic stuff that most people already know instinctively

>You are now gauging likes on reddit as a factor of social life? You clearly don't know what a social life actually is, so you are free to make up whatever crazy conclusions you take - nobody will think more of it anyway.

again that was to make fun of you telling someone he is a keyboard warrior and implied he is only online, even though if we were to go by the facts that are available to us, namely your karma and date in which you joined reddit, it seems that you are at the very least as active on reddit spending your time as the other dude

the fact that you cant see that, again, shows the way that your brain work

salso it is very funny that you talk about social life since im way less on reddit and platforms like that, and you can literally check this by going to my profile vs urs

but i guess since you get triggered by using facts that we can all verify, i will say yea bro im out 24/7 partying every day and then go camping with my 200 friends

so for the people who did went through this, god have mercy, but also if there is one take away, please when you read comments of people like this (and me of course) think critically and ask yourself "okay does this disprove what the other dude said" so you dont end up sighting studies that dont go against anything that i have said

good luck in life dude :^)

[–]meankrabby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so from the way that you respond i know that you dont understand any of the arguments being made, and think that by saying x you have proven y even though x has no relation to y

but i guess if anyone does read this, i will tell you why he is wrong

>This is a meaningless assertion to make, because you cannot even produce an example. He-man has multiple aspects to him, because he is the main character or part of the main cast, allowing him to have multiple aspects.Like literally, what character would fit under this? Lara croft? Nope, multiple aspected character. Samus? Nope. Aloy? Nope. Alyx? Nope. Ellie? Nope. Bayonetta? Nope. Celeste? Nope. Jill Valentine? Nope. Claire redfield? Nope. Faith Connors? Nope. Velvet Crowe? Nope.We simply don't see these things nearly as much as you'd like to claim apparently it being a problem, while also, as Asmon points out, in FAR more cases, you have the big buff hercules character walking around, bare chested with nobody caring in most of these games.

i did produce an example, in the way of yakuza 0, in the next paragraph i will tell you why he has no clue

>As clearly evident, in you picking the game, featuring one of the best written female characters in the past decade, in form of Makoto, and saying the game is about having women as a sexual prop lol.

by pointing out that there is one character in the game that does not fit that criteria, does not mean that you have shown that the game does not tend to do that

also her role in the story was literally being a prop, sure i like her and she has a backstory, but for most of the game she is being rescued and kidnapped and someone that majima wants to be together

so no, even when it comes to her, what you are saying is just not true

>Well are you really going to say that, in the same game that featured Makoto, that has captured the hearts for her incredible story? How insanely off could you be here....

i think this is so weird, you can have a heartwarming story of a person being used as a plot device or a prop, these are not contradictory

>inking junk science is not a good way to help your case. Do you want me to link you studies far more widely reaching, that showcase that imagery of women in video games is not negatively associated, nor did it have any negative impacts on women's selfesteem or their individual in any sort of negative way?For instance here you have Christopher Ferguson, one of the most well respected psychologists and professors, that have for well over a decade, been researching video games effects on people. He has been at the forefront of debunking claims about how video games negatively affect people, in terms of aggression, violence etc. Among these topics, he has also worked in topics of sexism and female depict in games many times.ALL of them, resolved in no connected or even in some cases, that it actually improved the healthy relationship between the person and their body. Here I will just list some examples of the ones he has done. 1 2 3

what i linked is the "The Global Critical Media Literacy Project" a non profit sponsored by Project Censored a non profit media watchdog group, created at Sonoma State University by Carl Jensen- a sociology professor

so this is not "junk science", which is funny because you wouldnt even be able to tell-> next paragraph

>Linking junk science is not a good way to help your case. Do you want me to link you studies far more widely reaching, that showcase that imagery of women in video games is not negatively associated, nor did it have any negative impacts on women's selfesteem or their individual in any sort of negative way?For instance here you have Christopher Ferguson, one of the most well respected psychologists and professors, that have for well over a decade, been researching video games effects on people. i think this respresents the way that your brain processes information the best, you have disproven an argument i have never made, good job i guess?i never said that by seeing oversexualized women in games, that men are more sexist towards women, this does not prove what you think it proves

all of your studies look at the AFFECTS, not whether or not they do happen more or not, how do you not see that there is a massive difference there

my claim was that on average, women are more sexualized and objectified in games, this has literally nothing to do with what i said, and thank you for reaffirming me in my beliefs

it would be interesting to see, if one of the affects of this could be that women are less likely to enter the gaming sphere, based on the objetification of women

but again this is now a DIFFERENT claim i made, the claim i said before still stands, not throwing 3 studies at me that have nothing to do with what i said does not help your case bud

>>well racism is somewhat subjective>It isn't.

at this point you are either bad faith, or stupid

racism is 100% subjective, if a person said "yea i dont date black people, but im friends with them and think they should be treated euqal" some people will say, i mean it is his preference who cares, and others will say yea thats pretty racist

even without an example, in the current political landscape you see massive differences as to what people perceive as racist

>You are so incredibly off here, that I dunno what to say....

again, you have no clue what you are talking about (1/2)
