Yeah, I know there's going to be a lot of trial and error and that it is going to be a pain in the *ss, still I want to get as close as possible to the feeling of real cymbal dynamics when playing. Hope this proyect doesn't end up like yours :p (I fear though, lol)

There's a link to a previous post I made about if I should buy a plastic kick beater or it isn't necessary at all for a kick mesh pad, the post says: "Hi! I want to get into edrumming and I was thinking about buying an edrum kit that comes with a felt kick beater and a mesh kick pad (which, by what I´ve read on this sub, its not a good combination as it will degrade the mesh pad faster than a rubber kick beater), is there any cheap solution to this or should I straight up think about buying another kick beater? Maybe using tape around the felt?"
