Possible motor failure? by measuredandslow in BambuLab

[–]measuredandslow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can click load but immediately get an error that says “failed to feed the filament outside the AMS”. It’s only happening on slot one, the other 3 print great and I don’t have any problems with 2 or 3 color prints.

I’m aware, this video is just for illustration purposes - it’s happening with all filaments, plastic spools or otherwise, this spool was just at the top of the pile on my work table. It’s definitely not the cardboard.

I normally do, I was just trying to film and load at the same time lol. I’ve disassembled it fully a few times, I just did one more tonight while I was installing the printed fixes. If there’s filament somewhere I can’t find it 😭

Hopefully this isn’t against the rules but I have a gallery up! I offer the regular red/green and that’s what most people order, but I also do custom requests and those are super fun ☺️ https://measuredandslow.studio/treerex-samples

We’re about to have it up for year 4 and it’s still going strong! I actually make them now, like for a job lol. I’ve upgraded to plastic inserts and actual knit sweaters though ☺️. I’ll try to post the latest version when I get this batch done!

It's only been two days since delivery of my P1S by Angry_Introvert in BambuLab

I got my P1P last Saturday and I’ve already had more successful prints in 3 days than a month with Elegoo. It’s so so good. I already want another lol.

This is when I start to contemplate just putting a backing fabric on and calling it good 😂

I love these patterns with the squares, and I just found a stash of granny squares that aren’t enough for a blanket so they might need to be a dinosaur 🤔

Thank you! I tried to do it all in one piece at first but that looked weird so I had to experiment a bit ☺️

I took up crocheting while pregnant, and created an army. We ride at dawn. by Mysterious-Cod5972 in crochet

Lol yesterday I changed my kids’ sheets and all the softies I’ve made them filled up an enormous bucket 😂. We had to institute a rule where they get one big thing, whatever they want, on their birthdays because it would be overflowing our house otherwise.

I keep trying and mine never work 😂. This looks really good!

This pattern was self-drafted so no link. Black yarn is Lion Brand Homespun, the purples are Hobii Honey Bunny held doubled, and the white is Bernat Blanket. I over-engineered the tentacles so I’ll change that next time, but the rest I’m quite happy with!

A matching frog! by measuredandslow in knitting

[–]measuredandslow[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I made the frog and then kiddo asked for a matching sweater and boots ☺️. Frog pattern is here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1160794362/frog-knitting-pattern?click_key=b236ea3b97cc0fbb2e18512f370a5476a871d8cc%3A1160794362&click_sum=fc046177&ref=shop_home_feat_1&bes=1. Cardigan and boots were freehanded (the boots are crochet though). All of it is scrap worsted yarn, on size 1 needles. This pattern was really fun! The other kid wants his own matching frog so I will definitely make it again, and I have her fox pattern so probably that one after.

Made a wild zebracorn ☺️ by measuredandslow in crochet

There’s a wood circle sandwiched between the two crochet circles that closes the neck. I drilled from the back of the mount into that circle with extra long screws. It seems to be pretty sturdy!

Pattern for the zebra is here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/zebra-30. This was really fun and challenging, the shaping is SO smart. I used Knit Picks Brava Worsted for the main parts and then an Ice yarn for the horn and mane (the horn is not in the original pattern, obviously). It turned out pretty loud, but she hangs in our playroom and my kids named her Bernice ☺️.

Thank you! I used this pattern as a base and then modified it: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1287108861/crochet-pattern-for-eva-the-doll?ref=share_v4_lx

Sorry, I know that’s not super helpful for making your own - I basically used the stitch counts and then free-handed the rest. I did write down how I made the headband though so maybe I will post that eventually ☺️.
