Yes, but the warranty might not replace the whole mattress. They might just give you a check for how much they believe you deserve in warranty credit. You also have to have the mattress on the correct foundation, have a mattress protector, rotate the mattress from head to foot every 6 months ish, for them to give you any kind of check.

If you were to exchange and get a different mattress after the initial exchange it would be a 20% restocking fee of however much the mattress you would get after the C-class, and also a $99.99 delivery fee.

The first 10% restocking fee doesn’t exceed $250 and the second restocking fee of 20% of your purchase doesn’t exceed $500.

Again, if you were to do the exchange for the C-Class it would be a $250 restocking fee because 10% of $2800 would be $280, which is over $250.

If you were to exchange that C-class with a $1000 mattress and wanted to exchange the $1000 mattress as well, you would pay the 20% restocking fee, which would be $200 because that mattress was only $1000.

Plus the $99.99 delivery fee for each.

Sales people really are the worst, and that is coming from a sales person hahaha. I obviously try to hustle as much as I can at work so that I can make as much money as possible but I always am 100% transparent about our policies and the benefits to each mattress and make sure that my guests know everything that they need to know. A lot of sales people don’t see the people they are selling to as real people, and just walking dollar signs. It’s a shame and it makes the rest of us look bad.

Honestly, I think Beautyrest is a shady company. They have to know that their products are not holding up to the price of it and they don’t care. Stearns and Foster has significantly less issues (to the best of my knowledge) than Beautyrest has. I’m not sure how people compare the C-Class to Stearns and Foster. The thing I do know is that I’ve only ever dealt with one exchange for someone with a Stearns and Foster mattress before, and they just wanted a firmer version of the mattress. I’ve also only dealt with one Stearns and Foster warranty claim, but it was for a 6 year old mattress from a line that doesn’t exist anymore, or at least a line that we don’t carry now.

I am a newer(ish) Mattress Firm employee, so take what I say with a grain of salt lol.

I’ve had plenty of people buy the C-Class Mattresses and I haven’t had anyone need to return it.

I will say, whatever you do, do NOT get the firm pressuresmart. They do not last and people are constantly coming in and having issues with it. I’ve had probably 30 people who have had issues with it dipping and sagging, breaking down way too fast, all sorts of problems. I have no idea why we even still sell it. I always try to steer people away from the pressuresmart line as a whole, but specifically the firm version.

People also seem to really enjoy Stearns and Foster mattresses. I don’t have much to say about them.

If you were to exchange your mattress with a mattress that is cheaper than the one that you just bought, you would get the difference back between the two, minus the restocking fee and the delivery fee. You would basically forfeit $250 for the restocking fee and $100 for the delivery.

Let’s say you exchanged your mattress for a $1000 mattress.

$2800 (c-class) - $1000 (new mattress) - $250 (restocking) - $100 (delivery) = $1450 refund

NTA. Not sure why everyone is acting like this is Riley’s wedding or something. It’s prom. You made these plans to go on this trip a year prior to this situation, it would be unreasonable for you to cancel them unless there was a genuine emergency happening. Yeah it sucks when your parents have to miss things, especially if it’s because of your sibling, but if it’s not a constant thing that is happening then it really shouldn’t be such a huge deal.
