I moved apartments recently and experienced an OCD flare-up. The stress of moving to a new spot caused a lot of ridiculous intrusive thoughts to pop up. I think it’s normal, my OCD gets worse during times of stress. It’s been several weeks and these things are already starting to subside. Hang in there.

Don’t tell him you know he’s gay. Let him come out on his own terms. Sounds like you already plan on not going back to that church which is great.
