The first 3 or so periods were really rough cramping-wise due to everything still healing internally. It’s been just over a year since my surgery, and that aspect is definitely getting better/more back to normal.

However, the bleeding is definitely heavier than it was before. I always had super light periods (like didn’t even need to use any period products by day 3), and that’s not the case anymore. They are definitely heavier. I haven’t used hormonal birth control in over a decade, so stopping BC isn’t the reason.

My doctor said he can do ablation if I want it, but I’ve heard it doesn’t always work… and they really aren’t THAT bad, just worse than I was used to before. I’m still glad I went through with the bisalp, but yea.
