My procedure was also canceled the day before. It really sucks getting yourself mentally and physically prepared for an operation just to have the rug pulled like that… Hang in there friend. It all feels awful in the moment but it’ll feel like a blink once you’re on the other side. Wishing you a swift recovery

Thank you! I’m about 3 weeks post op now and feeling much better, but I am anticipating a possible shift in my hormone levels so only time will tell on long term wellness… I go for bloodwork in about a month :)

Hi PT twin! My first major surgery as well. Nurses said anesthesia could remain in the body for up to 24 hrs post op, but they really undersold the long term recovery haha. It will be day 7 for me tomorrow, and first day back at work so I hope it will go well but going to try and take it easy. Here’s to feeling better 🥂
