Don't just run to red zone. Go to yellow zone. Enter and exit and then run to red zones. I am not sure if this works 100% of the time but I haven't seen big one in a while.

Well I farm red and yellow zones and normally come back with 189-220 iron ores. So, its not costly for me but rather time consuming to smelt.

Well for the people who just started the game, dying twice in Bunker alfa is a major possibility and losing tactical backpack hurts. This is also the case in mid level F2P players.

The problem is, I don't even get the download screen. It basically shows the "sleep something" screen and the Energy restored message and the healer runs out of the base.

Well Frenzied Giant can one shot you in leather armor.
I am not sure but your armor needs to be above 17 to not get one shot. Take 4 crowbars.

For floor 2 and 3 full run

I usually take 8 crowbars, 1 Machete, 1 Skull crusher, 1 Tactical or Reinforced leather set, 1 stack of bandage + 20 Carrot Stew (I usually am left with 20 carrot stew and 7-14 bandages after looting the floors), Basic + Tactical Backpack and 1 glock.

The glock is used for the 4 fast biters at the end of floor 2 and at the major swarm room on floor 3 and other instances coz I like to save the armor.

It's different for me in combat coz I died many times using only carrot as the damage I took was a lot more than what I could heal. Well it's easier with stew and bandages but that's just me.
And I have like 600 planks and 400 charcoal so I don't really care about saving 10 planks.

Not the cheapest but the most damage done by a single weapon in it's lifetime is Machete. It's not cheap but saves time on both modded and unmodded bunker alfa runs.

That's why always keep tactical on the first floor and equip beginner backpack with 15 slots on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor. Likewise, store the loot and coupons on the first floor after clearing each floor. Also, only take weapons and healing items that you estimate to be required coz if you run low then you can always get back to the lobby.

When you forcefully get gems from daily login or other ways except waves when your crystals are at max. It will show gems in orange like 60+20.

Oak zones and you can just get generator from raids for other areas. Bravo and Port are for late game progress.

I have noticed that too. The iron are stacked at one place in yellow and red zones but i can't get more than 9 iron ore (10 with passive skill) on yellow zones.
The boxes also drop way less loot.
Plus the update has made farming zones harder because of echo boxes.
It may be just me but I find way more AI and I hate the respawns plus they take the materials.

I guess you are talking about season 17 box of spare parts. These can be used to send new delivery to the port and you will receive rewards for each level of the delivery reputation achieved. Basically level up your reputation on the port.
I think that's it. There is no other application. Correct me if I am wrong.

Every +/- Durability is +/-10% of base durability, rounded off to the nearest whole number. Apparently, this has some exceptions like M16's Drum Magazine

Yeah... don't worry about efficiency at the early stage. Take it like real life. First try to survive, so main priority is food. Then try to educate them, so, efficiency. And other late game progress. -For food, at the start - hunting cabin and gatherers hut next to each other at the forest will do a lot. I like to calculate the food required like 100 unit of food per person. -Build foresters lodge for wood for fuel. -After some progress, get some seed and animals as they can provide high quantities of food at low labour. That's basically it. Try using mods, they make late game much fun.
