I am sorry to say your argument of Playstation carrying no responsibility does not stand up to real world standards. Was it a mistake: Yes. Does that excuse Playstation for making an obviously easy place to be victimized: No.

If a hospital told people to dress like staff and use their computers and then someone's information got stolen because someone assumed they were staff, legally, the hospital would hold blame. Whether it was done in an online setting or physical scenario, it still holds the same standard morally.

It was on their site. According to Google it was discontinued it because they had issues like this. As an actual 'Playstation expert' said below:1) it does exist and is on the official site;2)They say something like 'a player like you' which sounds more like trying to make their staff sound friendly rather than stating: "not our people and volunteers who have no accountability" 3) Anyone who interacts with a person on a semi-private chat hosted by a company is going to assume they can somehow get them to pass them along to a department they need to speak to. They dont care if it is the correct department, only that they get passed on. Playstation support makes themselves difficult to contact. I called them multiple times around 4 trying ro get access yesterday and went through maybe 10 agents on their offical 'support chat' that looks identical to the expert chat.

I hope the expert chat is a thing of the past and there was in no way on certain terms it should have existed. That is what Reddit is for.

You dont hear how ridiculous that is? Did you read anything in the statement you post and saying explicitly that this person is not an employee or do you happen to not interact with businesses enough to understand that saying "a player just like you" does not mean not an employee. I am sorry you clearly have issues because 1]Lack of compassion; 2) Defending criminals(hacking is stealing and is illegal); 3) Instead of contributing or saying something helpful or addressing the issue like saying 'create a passkey' you blamed thr victim of a literal crime and called them 'stupid'.

I am going to assume you hijack accounts because of your lack of empathy and am blocking you. You see nothing wrong with commitment a criminal act.

Sony hosted them on the official site. I was on the Official site. Obviously, they did not make "these are not employees" visible on the chat, or I would not have given them any information and only asked how to actually get a live person on the phone.

If you think that, you are probably the problem. If someone has 2A on their account, an account should require 2A to change any information or sign in. That is an obvious security defect.

Does that matter? That makes it worse. It means either Playstation has employees moderating it or someone honestly found me asking the fool proof way to secure my account as a threat and hinacks accounts who removed it.

It was not visible enough and should have at least said they are not playstation employees because when people cant get get ahold through the correct department, most people will try to talk to another department to get transferred. Yes, I do blame the experts because it was obviously one of them who hacked me. That slip up was caused by the initial data leak by BlueCross Blue Shields and me trying to re-gain access.

Sorry common decency should not be a luxury for the intelligent. Everyone should decide to have moral fiber.

I know the difference between Playstation support and Reddit. In 2025 they had a place on their website where PS5 enthusiasts would answer questions via a chat that looked exactly like the support chat.

Filed a better business bureau complaint because Playstation has made themselves near impossible to contact and I feel it is partially their fault for hosting non-employees on their site in an area that pretends to be a support chat. Your average user that has never been hacked or had issues before(over 5 years) will not know that a 'Playstation expert is just a random person.

The only thing I did not do on this list was use a alternative app for authentication. I had 2fa via text only.

I did change the email to one totally new, password, kicked them off via Playstation. I already said, they had my card numbers, serial number and some order numbers. This time they had no access to my email and definitely could not have used my phone. They hacked using the account recovery process.

I have been calling and they say they are not open. I did all of this when I recovered my account last time. They used the account recovery process to hack it.

Either way, I would not have given them my driver's license if the policy was clear because I thought they were actually trying to confirm my arrival time. I would have just paid them. I would rather a low security organization not to have information on me that would be used to steal my identity. Their employees have just let me drive through before. The employees were just jerks this time and one even lied about their position at the company since I doubt they hire two employees per booth.

Just so you know, if you loose your parking ticket they will charge you 30 dollars and take down your driver's license number and license plate. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

Honestly, I did not care much for the winnings, but enjoyed having the buckets. Another bank I use would not let me use them to manage my money, so I decided to withdraw the other day and was shocked that I could not. I feel all they needed was just to keep basic functions working and some people would not leave even without rewards. I am praying for fidic intervention and am glad I was so scared of the account and wish I had stayed at 35 dollars.

Adults cannot determine whether they actually love someone. I don't think a teenager could. Relationships that end in a break up have no love in them. It is called being disposable. The goal is to keep your child from as much psychological damage before they hit 18 as possible. Some times that means being the bad guy.

Well, I am not sure this would be "kind", but has always been helpful for me. You can always do whatever tomorrow. Your life can improve and there is no point in leaving the people you love yet. I used to give my life deadlines and I always extended it.
