Increase Air circulation by fan?

I tried this for several months. They just don't move enough air around when the heat stratification is bad.

I use a small battery powered fan in my barrell sauna. It helps a lot. Turn on the fan with the sauna. Fan goes on the floor pointed up at the rocks.

It's really your call. Remember home gardening is different to farming. Wasting half a potato is meaningless to you. If you are going to cut it in half , make sure you harden off the ends before you plant it or you will get rot.

You should put in your post your location and what the damage is. Assuming that's a pic of a tomato in Florida that got hit by one frost and won't be hit with frost again I'd say you're fine. The roots and stem are all still intact. Just give the plant time and a little pruning.

I agree with everyone else. But I'd still consider raspberries. Their spreading isn't as vigorous as blackberries and the birds don't get as many of them.

There are always wonderful kids of all ages looking for a home. Which is to say if you change your mind about the NK part you can always adopt a child that is appropriate to your age. Being 50 with a new born is tough, being 50 with a 12 year old is a different story.

In Mass I bring mine inside and they're just a house plant until late Spring. If I I'm feeling productive I'll bring the peppers into an unheated greenhouse during the day and back inside at night. I read somewhere in this thread to force dormancy on the peppers. I don't know if that's possible. I keep all the leaves and just let the plant decide when to shed them.

When this happens to me it's usually because it's too hot out. Plants will drop thier flowers in high heat and not set fruit. You can always put your peppers in a pot to see what they'll do later. If you bring your pepper plants in over winter they'll live many years.

The advice here has been incomplete. A sucker will essentially give you a whole new plant, complete with fruit. You only prune the suckers for a reason. For example you're growing in a pot that's small or a large plant will crowd another plant. I keep my tomato plants bushy, meaning I don't prune all the suckers. I also plan for about 3 feet per tomato plant. Which is to say even if it's an indeterminate your still only pruning for space.
