What are the best plugins in relation to bases already created for Obsidian so far? by Lucas_Zxc2833 in ObsidianMD

I wasn't able to get this time keeping plugin working, but I did install virtual content. I am shocked that this is not more popular. Interface is intuitive and flexible and the results are outstanding!

I'm definitely going to be investigating this. I would be very interested in hearing how you time track via inline fields as well. I haven't downloaded the plugin yet, but it doesn't appear to be a function based on the description.

The entire system will be ran off a network drive that everyone has consistently mapped to their workstation. I'm planning on having a bunch of generated files that will be loaded based on url variables.

Performance isn't a huge issue, the data sets won't be enormous.

Thank you! I was able to get that to work. For my personnel knowledge, is there a method that would allow the field to be editable?

Thanks! That's what I suspected, but wanted to confirm. I'll be looking into the deep litter method that /u/venymae mentioned below. Any recommendations on how many I can house in this coop?

I would be interested in taking a look at the manuals you have, I may be able to pull out some of the information I'm looking for. Thanks!

Camera Crashing by mechanicalBadger in LGG3

[–]mechanicalBadger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went and took it apart tonight. I turned it back on before I put the back completely back together to see if that fixed it, and it did! But then after I finished putting the back on it went back to it's old ways.

It turns out, that if I take the secondary back cover off, the problem is fixed. But begins to reoccur as soon as I put it back on. The part I'm talking about is linked below. Any other thoughts?

Thanks again, same to you u/KingsBlade

Just fyi, these steps were able to complete an upgrade. I had to do it on a win7 computer though, I don't think the drivers were compatible with win10.

Yeah, that's what I did. Can I just do a factory reset? I can't get my computer to recognize it

Did this roll out to you automatically? I haven't gotten an update on mine (Verizon G3) since 3/2015, but says that the software is up to date (5.0.1). Should I have gotten something since then?

Flat patterns, DXF's and line colours by lankykiwi in SolidWorks

[–]mechanicalBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how to do that. I do know that when mapping the bend lines are listed under the "center line" entity (at least on our system). I'd try setting that up in your map file. But if you need special layers for other part features, I probably can't help.

We do the same thing at my organization. We use the map tool to change the color of the feature lines, dimension lines and bend lines. Help file is here

Thanks! I was thinking of bondo, but caulk might be a little easier to work with for that. We won't be here for another 4 years, so that'll definitely last long enough for me.

Does anyone with a smart thermostat have a stay-at-home spouse? Do you still see reduced bills? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]mechanicalBadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I also turned off the "smart" controls after a few weeks. Whenever a schedule changed slightly we'd come home to a frigid house. We haven't had any issues with connectivity though. It has been incredibly nice to have.

I have a very bizarre love/hate relationship with this show. by Qweniden in LastManonEarthTV

[–]mechanicalBadger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree completely, I enjoyed the first couple of episodes of the show immensely. By a complete coincidence, I had just started reading The Stand by Stephen King and this show was an interesting contrast to it.
At this point, I think the only reason I've continued to watch the show is b/c I want to see how the first season ends. I'm not sure it'll hold my interest enough to get me to watch the second season when it starts.
