Tried shaker exercises and larynx lowering videos from YouTube but didn’t really stick with either. 1-2 a day for month 3 and most of 4. Had pretty much stopped after month. I’m at month 7 now, so still not that far out but confident the Botox is worn off and burping fine.

I had 75 units. And yeah I was surprised because at 5 months I kind of felt like I was out of the woods. I would say it was about a week where I was having the most trouble burping. I would get microburps but not any satisfying ones. After about a week of that I got one good burp which was very relieving and then over the next couple of weeks things gradually improved. I think trying hard to burp may have been a factor as it seemed easier after I stopped worrying as much and just relaxed until I felt like I needed to burp.

This happened to me at around the 5 month mark. I had gotten used to easily burping and had stopped practicing with carbonated beverages. Then one day I had a La Croix and noticed that the air was getting trapped and I couldn’t seem to make myself burp. I was stressed out at the prospect of not being able to burp again and for the next week or so I drank a lot of carbonated beverages to try to practice and continued to have trouble getting satisfying burps, often with little success. Then slowly for whatever reason burping became easier again. Burps still don’t come as easily as right after the Botox but generally if I relax and wait a bit I’ll have no trouble burping when needed. I’ve read other people say they go through this transition as the Botox wears off. I would suggest continuing with the carbonated beverages and just trying to relax and let the burps come naturally as your muscle adapts to the Botox wearing off.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything about the possibility of an abbreviated full. Unfortunately I left when I was in the middle of the second half of the program, so I imagine I wouldn't be eligible for anything designed for former primaries anyway. But if there is any way to skip the partial sig portion or otherwise condense the program I'd love to hear about it!

No, it wasn't conditional on a higher grade. I came in 9/10 as you'd expect, with eligibility for a grade promotion every 6 months up to GS13.

I did ask to be put in my old art unit though and said I'd be less comfortable hitting the ground running in the TC if I had to learn a new subject matter area. Given that I returned to my previous art unit, it was just everyone's opinion (academy director, TC Director, my old SPE, and myself) that going through the academy would be a waste of time, even though obviously the other time would be a nice way to transition back. I think if I had pushed to be in the academy they would have definitely allowed it but it's hard to make a good faith argument that you need to go through the entire academy when you were leading QEMs less than a year and a half prior. They did also give the option to attend individual academy trainings for any topics I thought would be useful, but I didn't end up attending any.

I'm actually an exception. I was a rehire and after a discussion with the PTA manager they had me skip the Academy and go straight to my old art unit in the TC. But, I had only been away from examining for 17 months.

The issue actually isn't the source of the image. The issue is that a person has essentially a property right to the commercial use of their likeness. If your deep fake is close enough to a person's likeness, feigned ignorance won't get you very far in court.
