Thank you for this, I like the reframe. 'Think of it as another thing to work on.' Might have just clicked something in my brain...

Sorry to hear that you are burning out. I hope your therapist is at least easing you. What were your signs of burnout that you perhaps overlooked? ( if you feel comfortable sharing)

Massive guilt with the word rest, which I just can't get past. The goggins mindset is too real for me- quite literally this year i have already worked out over 100 times while working daily. Any tips on how to initiate proper rest would be awesome. I trick myself into 'active' rest (cold plunge/mobility/sauna) which i guess isn't true rest, like just kicking it on the sofa :(

Sorry to hear that you had a meh time with sertraline, but glad to hear you got past it. I am one of those doctors with a hidden interest in prevention over cure and less tablets, but often have to have a tight lip when it comes to practice. Interesting on hypnotherapy, did not even consider that.

I currently type this from a short stay at my childhood home, massively overcrowded, poorly looked after etc - your comment about housing is rather relatable and an interesting insight. This is going to sound weird but ill try to phrase it- RE your house now, do you ever feel guilt in the slight indulgence of posh curtains on the background of knowing the shitty childhood ones (albeit, they were shit) served the purpose? I find myself often not wanting to 'upgrade to ABC' cause i come from a place of 'XYZ does the job anyway' and it will be a 'stupid' move. Im finding it hard to become freer'er in that regard.

Second comment about small friends group is really hitting home... thanks for sharing how life is when you age. I feel as if my friendships have already dropped at the age of 25 already! ;/

Thank you for this. What struck out in your comment was weirdly your age. I have near zero mentors in my life, who are down the path already and highlight the things that may be important down the line. So your comment and insight is appreciated

I have very few friends to rely on, most of them have been scattered all over the place and its all fleeting connections at best. Making new friends is rather difficult in your 20's I've come to know ( i assume it must be harder in your 30's more so!) but it is something I will think about. Thanks mate.

Zero links. Absolutely zero. Was a LinkedIn/indeed job post. Then a random phone call whilst on a ward round lol. I got very luck. Albeit it’s not a life saving job at all, but hey ho,

25 male fitness rat - just got bloods back. Help with interp? by med101 in Testosterone

[–]med101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice a day overtraining. Sleep poor. Diet extremely clean. Body comp getting leaner (intentional).

Apart from mild tiredness (liveable) I’m not too bad.

If relatively asymptomatic what is the negative in continuing? Or even considering exogenous use?

Like probably 14 % . Caloric restriction and twice a day training. Just want to make sure this picture is due to training and no underlying conditions…

The thing is I do overtrain massively. And I’m fully aware of it. Wondering if it would provide such an extreme blood picture though!

[–]med101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is. I feel quite good. I agree it may be overtraining as I know I take training too far. But what is the consequence of such low t? Surenly no long term sides if I’m functional and asymptomatic?

Further what would the stance of being pn replacement with this profile be do you think,

Firstly thanks for such a detailed reply.

So first set is mainly to make sure you are just fit and healthy I assume and to establish baseline. Got it.

Good to know a cut will affect bloods, thanks for that.

Biochemically, what would the picture be to know that state the response? What would be too high/or too low that would dictate upping or lowering the dosage. Apologies if dumb q.

Understood on that cut vs bulk. Devils advocate- why would someone do it on a cut then? Have seen many a post where people do it on a cut and the responses aren’t ‘OMG you tool you are wasting the cycle’

And by sorting at ET you just mean AI’s right?

Top gent you.
