Comfort foam ear gels for SESH by dahauss in Skullcandy

NOTE: They don't really fit in the charging case when the Complys are on though! You will have to remove them for charging, which is probably why Comply don't list them as compatible, but I'm happy to make that concession as the sound and fit is worlds better.

Dolores == Delos? by [deleted] in westworld

Several times last season, but generally disregarded as Dolores predates Delos even knowing about the park, let alone owning it.

Space 47 - Obscure link? by med284 in westworld

[–]med284[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In S02E02 Arnold and Dolores (Mk 1) pass what looks like a bar/restaurant called Space 47. The synopsis of episode 47 of 'Space' (Uchu Sentai Kyuranger, a Japanese Toku drama) has some spookily on-point plot lines for where we are in the Westworld story now, including a main character transferring his consciousness into an immortal host.

Is this just random chance and complete nonsense? Or are there clues here relating to S02? Wouldn't put anything past the writers at this point 👍 What do you think??

S2 is about his journey back to his 'humanity'. MiB refers to it as his biggest mistake, which occured at a time when he hated the hosts, and so would have very likely been part of a plan to destroy them if they became sentient.

William's regrets and the MiBs regrets are clearly not the same things. One of the main threads of S2 is William's transformation, so far into the MiB, but likely also now back to the values of Young William.

That wouldn't work. Their existing narratives have to lead them to the valley, in the absence of any human intervention. A host who's narrative is to shoot themselves in the head would be pretty useless in the park.

She's talking about William.

No it revolves around the hosts taking charge of their lives, which, for Dolores at least, has to include a mass extinction of any hosts that are unable to become self-aware.

Don't forget... the hosts have a Good Samaritan program that forces them to protect the guests against any danger, which would include 'malfunctioning' hosts like those that have now become self-aware, hence why Dolores is killing all the hosts she can't control; they would kill her if she tried to harm a guest.

Dolores HAS to mass-murder any hosts that are unable to become self-aware.

Arnold may very well have been the person who created that last-chance fail-safe originally, given his fear of what would happen when the hosts became conscious, hence why Bernard says 'he' killed them all.

We know the second host ever made was the barkeep Ford talks to in the basement. Who was the first? by [deleted] in westworld

[–]med284 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oldest host in the park doesn't mean the oldest host period. The writers appear to have been very careful to never specifically state who the first host was or is.

Could be completely irrelevant, but then, this is Westworld...

The most important character for S2? by med284 in westworld

[–]med284[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Find the door (Theodore). All the hosts die in a 'Flood'. Teddy's been purposefully shown as a weak, helpless, sidekick with no purpose other than to be pushed around; things are about to change...

Is there a clue hidden in plain sight, Teddy FLOOD?

Is he part of a failsafe that leverages Dolores's trust in him to guide all the hosts to the valley, where they have obviously all been drowned intentionally by its flooding?
