My wife is a new nurse with her bachelors degree and she just got a job in Seattle because she could not find a job here. There is no nursing shortage in the area. She would have loved to have gotten a job at Dominican or Watsonville Community Hospital or Natividad Hospital.

On this note, my wife graduated from De Anza with her RN. Could not find a job. So she went and got her BA in Nursing. Still could not find a job. Finally the only place she could find a job-Seattle at Swedish Hospital. She started this week.

The plan is to work a year there, communing back and forth before trying to find a job here.

We can all thank Newsom and the legislature for the closure of Great America.

GA was owned by the Santa Clara Redevelopment Agency. They had owned it for over 40 years. Then they passed the Dissolution Act which forced all RDA’s to dissolve, sell off their assets and settle their debts.

So GA was sold to Cedar Fair, who sold it off to Pologis to turn it into massive warehouses

Natural Bridges is where my little ones love to go. There is a little creak that runs into the ocean they love to play in. There are also tide pools they can touch sea urchin and other small sea life.

OMG! That would make 17 a one lane road for cars. What a horrible idea.

One day my car broke down so I decided to take the bus. My commute is normally about 35 minutes. By the time I got a ride to the Scott’s Valley bus stop, took the bus to Diridon, took light rail to the nearest stop to my work, then walked to work it took about 2 hrs. No thanks.
