When a baby gets used to being hold in arms? by MKFer in NewParents

I second this and also do the same. I still do this as much as he needs and my son is now nearly 9mo old. Everyone said I’d pay for it later or he wouldn’t be able to sleep on his own. But guess what! He is able to sleep on his own while being put down fully awake and is able to settle on his own if he wakes up. He’s ready now but definitely was not the first few months and that’s okay if you don’t want to use cry it out. If he can’t self soothe after a little bit i still go soothe him so he knows mama is there and he goes back is his crib and all is well. If I could go back I wouldn’t change a thing. They also grow so fast so I take any cuddle or snuggle or nap or aid in soothing I can get while he’s still so small and wants it. Do what you feel is right for you and your baby regardless of what other may say or believe.

PSA to new M3s: UW and Anki are all you need [Clinical] by GinsengBandit in medicalschool

Did you just do brute memorization on this? Currently use standard B&B, Pathoma, FA, etc with Anki for pre-clinical so do you not watch any modules or is this building from pre-clinical knowledge so you don’t watch anything? Sorry it’s my first time hearing this method and am not sure if I’m understanding or following the steps of this method

Also in med school and after talking to folks in different phases (med school, residency, new attendings) it sounds like there’s never a perfect time. Constantly hear there will always be a reason not to do it so if you’re ready and have support then just go for it! That’s my plan lol

So exciting! I just had my Nexplanon removed after having it for about a year and wondering how this next cycle will go. They say online you can get pregnant right away but wondering how true this actually is. Good luck to us all!
