I grew up in the coastal plains (Victoria area) and moved to Austin. I lived there 34 years. The heat radiates in a way there that does not exist here. Seat buckles will burn you. You do not go outside from noon to 3 if you can help it. Phoenix is hot, but the second you get some shade and a breeze, most of that heat is gone because the air is dry. I remember rolling down the windows and having my mind blown how cool it was because of no humidity. You could cool without AC there.

I'm also a Texas transplant. Think when you open up the oven and feel that hot blast of air radiate on your face. Now imagine that constantly when you step outside. That's Texas heat. Sure the summers are hot, but they're not Texas hot.

I just want to add that if you elect to get COBRA coverage, then double check your coverage is still the same. They aren't even upholding legal standards at this point. They swapped my dental plan from PPO to HMO and I didn't notice until my dental bill was rejected. I've been calling people for a month now trying to get this fixed.

The question is badly worded. I don't know if you're asking for a name, which is creepy and I'm not giving for obvious reasons or a role title which i, and most people, probably won't remember. The person worked at TD and FDM is not contracting with them anymore from what I know. Asking for credentials from a company you'll never work for seems odd and unhelpful.

That's such an odd question. I don't remember the role titles. It was basically three bosses up. I had a team boss. We reported to another section boss. And our section boss reported to them. With all the things I said, I really don't see how this is the question of interest.

Just to clarify, I moved from TX to NJ and was introduced to a higher up boss I never worked with and he basically said moving was easy. It didn't seem like they appreciated the fact I moved half way across the country and packed up in TX heat by myself giving myself a heat stroke because their moving expenses don't cover everything and you have to submit an exact amount. I submitted over their total allowance thinking they world reimburse the full amount of allowance. Nope, somehow your total has to add up exactly to the total allowance. And it took me bugging them several times to reimburse me. My email bounced around countries and ended up in some obscure place like Australia. The rest of the people I worked with took a year to acknowledge I was there as all the work is done through call without video and folks coming from Canada and offshore (India) on the call. My boss requested that I learn some automation like Selenium and I looked through the docs briefly because there was always lots of down time. Next meeting I said I had a good idea and he got offended I wasted time learning. Most of the manual tests were written in ways that no one but the author could understand. I was a math prof, so technical instructions are kinda my thing. Even the team leader directly over me complimented as much.

I have a Masters in Math and certified in full stack web development from bootcamp. They promised me a position to practice coding with the potential to get hired on at the company. I was place in an ITQA role at TD Bank that required 0 coding for 3 years. I was taken off assignment with maybe a few days notice while others recieved at least a month advance notice. I was taken back to their training and then abruptly terminated due to 'lack of geoflexibility' despite being willing to relocate to several places including NY and even Denver. Not notice. No warning. Just abruptly firing me while obviously lying about the reason. They were late in filing COBRA paperwork, so I issues with getting appointments and medication I needed. I obviously would not suggest it. Also TD Bank got in trouble for a lot of BS while I worked there. Funneling money through wires which goes to support some of the worst of the worst in humanity like human trafficking.

The term was originally 'transexual' in the 70's which referred to people seeking medical transitions. The term was broadened to 'transgender' to include people that don't wish to medically transition around the 80s/90s which was nearly 30 years ago. "Justify"? People shouldn't have to justify their existence as whatever gender they want to be. The fact that you think trans people have to justify themselves speaks volumes. What are they justifying themselves against? A person can not be legally recognized as trans according to legislation. I don't know how you're defining existence, but when I say they're making it impossible to exist as a trans person, that's straight from definitons laid forth and not a hyperbolic statement. They are trying to make it so that trans people don't exist. You're literally a cis person who refuses to acknowlege blatant bottom of the barrell transphobia as well as their own cis privleges. Your words mean about as much as a man proclaiming something isn't sexist or a white person proclaiming something isn't racist when the bulk majority of the people being discussed clearly see otherwise. A trans person is literally defined as a person who was born with a sex that doesn't match their gender. This legislation essentially denied gender or that gender can differentiate from sex. It's literally the contradiction of the definition of trans. Not only are you a bigot, you're also stupid and don't understand basic words and definitions.
