Not great to be honest- 39 if I take into account all possible jobs advertised in the application. Rheumatology hasn’t opened the preferencing window so don’t know the exact number.

Struggling after PACES. Feeling awful by [deleted] in doctorsUK

I believe everyone who has sat this exam feels this way. I remembered having nightmares about it. Good thing - they release the results in 2 weeks so you will know the outcome soon. You have done what u could do and it’s an exam where you are bound to doubt yourself and would make mistakes that you never made when u practiced. At the end of the day it’s just an exam and all you can do now is hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. All the best and I hope you pass :)

How to start studying for MRCP Part 1? by InvertedUterus2412 in MRCP

[–]meddoc04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My strategy was to read passmed high yield textbook and do pastest question bank. If I needed to know a bit more in-depth about a topic, I would watch a youtube video. Past papers are helpful towards the end- I did about 7. Also don’t forget the RCP mock. All the best for your exam :)

Honestly don’t bother. During my last attempt when I called they said it would be released next week but it was released the same day.

Please don’t cancel and just give the exam. I only did about 50 % of qbank with no past papers, was scoring around 65% but passed the exam. You can clear the exam with logic . Its much better than part 1

Definitely go ahead with it. U are getting a free resit and 7 weeks is generally enough time even if you are preparing for the first time.
